I am 5 weeks post op. and I am having trouble increasing my volume . So far I have lost 40 pounds . That might be to much ? And I cannot eat more than 3 tbs 3 times a day ... And even with that I feel like I have food stuck in my esophagus ? And I eat over 30 minutes everytime ? Is something wrong ?

Surgery date 8/8/13 ! Highest weight 260 , surgery day weight 254 today 210 !!! I have lost 44 pounds in 6 weeks ! Crazy ! Somedays I don't feel great others I do ! Only getting in about 400 calories a day still and can't eat more than 4 tbs 3 times a day ! Hoping that changes !!!

I started at 254 had 100 to loose ! Now 60 ! -
I felt the same after my surgery to . I was sleeved August 8th .. It lasted about 6 days it was like I was withdrawing from a major addiction... I did the sugar free popsicles and sucked on a few sugar free hard candies ! That helped a little ! The head hunger and food cravings has finally gotten better ! It just took time ! Hang in there !

I am not sure if this Is even a problem but I am almost 2 weeks post op I started my soft/puréed foods per my NUT plan on Friday I am eating 2-3 tbs 3 x a day of things like eggs , Greek yougart, Tuna , refried beans ... And I haven't lost a single pound in 6 days ? Is this normal ? What is going on ? I have even been walking on the treadmill every morning for 30 minutes .....

I had surgery last week and had the same thing it was awful ... Ask for some Toradol IV it's basically like ibuprofen but IV ! Also if your getting IV pain meds like diluadid stop that was making mine so much worse maybe see if u can try a few sips of coffee too no creamer !

I was sleeved August 8th and I am still having pain with drinking its like a bloated sharp pain it also hurts just sitting here ? Not sure if this is normal and if so when does it go away ? Also having a bit of difficulty watching my family eat food . It's been incredibly emotional and I find myself wanting every food I see .... I feel like I'm withdrawing from food ....... -

I have this really weird feeling in the right side of my abdomen close to we're one of the lap surgical sites are , it feels almost like it felt when I was 24 weeks pregnant and the baby was kicking ? So weird has anyone else experienced anything like this ? -

I have started chewing on some tums like 4 times a day and then today I'm gonna start Pepcid ac my doc says sometimes people after the sleeve have bad reflux ... Hoping this helps it still hurts in my stomach once the fluids hit it , its like a horrible sharp burning pain ? think yesterday I got to 30 oz of fluid , still way short of the 64 oz goal ...... -

I can have 2-3 tbs protein shake 5 times a day but the rest clear liquids .. I said the same thing I think every other tv commercial is a food one ! Trying to stay positive already down 14 pounds ! -

I have also struggled to get in my daily fluids , I know there is no way I could eat that stuff I just find myslef thinking about it a lot . I'm on liquid until Friday then I can do soft / puréed foods ! I am hoping that helps with the head hunger issue ! -

I am post op day 3 and feeling awful too , it hurts so bad to drink any fluids I already had to go back to the ER ... I hope this gets better cause right now I'm feeling really down -
I am having my surgery tomorrow too and am feeling the same way ... I'm nervous and having some serious anxiety . I know I have been waiting for so long to have this surgery , but right now I'm freaking out a little ...
