I am doing my 7 day pre op which consists of 3-4 protein shakes, sugar free popsicles and jello. Just completing day 2 and not sure how I'm going to make it all the way. Definitely going to be challenging.

My bmi is just under 35. Insurance wouldn't cover, so i am self pay in the USA. -

My surgery will be on October 11 at Forest Park Med Ctr in Dallas. I'm envious of the ones who don't have a pre-op diet. Mine starts this Friday and consists of 4 protein shakes per day plus sugar free popsicles and jello. I hope we can keep in touch so we don't feel like we're going through this alone. I have a wonderfully supportive family, but they won't understand like y'all will. Good luck everybody! -
