Ever since surgery it seems like I have a super-human sense of smell. My daughter was eating dome goldfish in her room the other night and I could smell them from the living room. Today I could smell my son pouring katsup from the kitchen. Weird right? Anyone else?

I'm pretty sure the benefiber is tasteless but the metamucil kind of tasts like Tang...orangy.. yum lol

Funny! I guess I'm gonna live a long, intelligent and healthy life. Yipee!!

It's funny really. I used to say I wish there was some kind of magic that would make me physically sick when I ate crap and would make me crave healthy foods. Now when I get cravings I remember that I got the magic (sleeve) that I wished for and it really helps the cravings to pass... it takes time for your body and mind to rid itself of a lifetime of bad habbits... fortunately. .. it can also become just as accustomed to new habbits. Give it time. You can do this.

I add some metamucil to my Water every morning for just that reason and have been pretty regular.

Myy problem now is that I keep forgetting. I totally grossed out my family (and myself) tonight.. I went to take a drink with dinner, remembered, and spit it back out into my glass! Oops :-D

Interesting. . I never really thought about the internal stitches popping. . Sounds creepy!

If you have CVS pharmacy they carry liquid extra strength acetaminophen (Tylenol). I'm not sure if you can get it any where else? ?

I haven't been brave enough to venture into the store yet either. Scary

Oh yeah... took me about three days to get back to my previous post op soreness. My Dr told me to continue to take the muscle relaxer at night. The last three days sucked then I woke up this morning and poof! All better

Started two days out...early. then stopped for day and a half..started stopped. .ah, finally. .lol

I have been having a pitty party the last coule of days and haven't done my walking. Also my largest incision is hurting like hell. It was getting better now getting worse. Do you think it's related?

Is it just me or does anyone else post something and get off the mark responces? It's like people are only reading part of the post. Actually, it's kinda like talking to my kids...frustrating!

Hi I was Sleeved on Monday the 21st. Aside from the eating thing if it wasn't for the pain at the site of my largest incision I would hardly even know I had surgery. Funny thing is it seems to be getting worse every day. I had my post op visit this Thursday and dr said everything looks great. Is this normal and what is your experience? Thank you! !

How about you? Maybe try taking the muscle relaxer.. or a heating pad.

Thanks.. it feels somewhat better today. Hopefully I just won't notice it because I'll be to busy at work? ?

Eatumup... thanks. Apparently I stayed up too late and I have been overly emotional because what I should have said to those of you who think it's fun to gang up on me is F.U.

Had a good cry and now I feel better. If you read my post I said I already appologized for it.. how many times should I have to own it? And for someone who tells everyone they dont judge or want conflict iamfatpat seems insistant on judging me and stirring it up. I certainly hope everyone had fun ripping me a new one at my expense. I was already struggling and now I just feel like total and complete crap. So, fatpat abd laura... congradulations... I give up... you are the queens of this blog and I am nothing. Hope that's what you wanted to hear. And I hope for your sake you don't ever say something stupid when someone like you is around because you all were so hurtful to me tonight that I just don't giva a ... about anything anymore!!!

I am finding out that it gets harder before it gets easier. But I fave faith:)

Well... I did go back and read the entire post. And I apologize for being an a** myself.learned a lesson tonight.. although could have done so without all the f bombs from laura whom I don't even know. Anyway... you were given excellent advise tonight and I truely hope you do what I didn't... read through all of them. Good luck
