You are so definitely not alone. We all have our assclown moments! I think its healthy. I think you will be great. I got so frustrated with my never ending fatness I gave away most of my thin cloths about 4 1/2 years ago because I thought I would never get back into them. I wish I could hold them while I cry over them.

Look for rx discount code for the amend... I can't remember but I found one that lowered my cost significantly. What I didn't know is that if you ask for it upon arrival at the hospital they will give it to you and the costs are absorbed with your surgery costs. Good luck

Driving Right After Surgery?
Seela replied to dreamscometrue's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm a stylist and went back to work after two weeks. I didn't realize it until after day two but I could have used another week. I was cleared for driving at ten days but I was nervous and uncomfortable. Getting in and out of the car was uncomfortable. The night after my second day back to work was the worst night I'd had in the entire process. Please be careful. .. is working that one day really going to make a huge difference in the grand scheme of things? If not you may want to rethink your decision. Good luck -
I can't even imagine how stressed out you must be. I'm so sorry this is happening to you. It sounds like as far as leaks go you have the absolute best kind and you will be ok. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am inly 6 weeks out but I understand you can increase your caloric intake with time. The restriction is honestly wonderful. The pain of post op is minimal for most of us. It was actually so much easier than I thought it would be. And although you will get sick of hearing it the only things that help in the beginning are Protein Water and walking. . Good luck!

Seela replied to Seela's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Omg! Omg! Just found out, Thanks to all of you, that the pattent in cymbalta is expiring at the end of the year and there will be generics!! $4 wal-mart here I come!!! I'm going to the free clinic on Sunday to get enough to get me through the end of the year and I don't qualify for medi-cal because I own a house but after the first of the year they drop the property restrictions so.. goodie! And thanks. -
Thank you so much for sharing your journey and congratulations on your success! I appreciate it when the vets take the time to help out us greenies!

Your weight loss is fantastic, but it often happens so fast our brains can't keep up. I'm fat. When I was a teenager I was stick thin and thought I was fat. I think it doesn't matter what size I am ill always be fat. But unfortunately what I through my eyes isn't reality. You're doing great and you liik great.

I had same ins but it covered wls. After deductibles and out of pocket maximums it ended up costing me 5k+ so maybe mx isn't such a bad idea

Pretty serious restriction... I didn't even know that they would do wls for only 50lbs...

No... not at all.. I can totally understand where u were comming from and my mother said the same thing. But although a little shaken up she really is ok.. I'm keeping an eye on her. I have an appt this morning to get medi cal temporarily until our ins kicks in. I wasn't insulted at all. Actually I'm humbled by all the people t hat reached out to help me. Thank you -
Ok. . So I sat down in a big comfy chair at work today and crossed my legs as if I just do it all the time. I didn't even realize it at first. Then I was shocked and we all got a good laugh a my shock. When I got home I showed my family how I can cross my legs! They looked at me like I am completely crazy, but were happy I was happy lol

Personally I just don't get how we're supposed to not drink 30 minutes before eating, eat for 30 min and not drink for another 30 min after and still get in all those fluids while trying to work and chasing after kids!! It evades me
