I am a single mom of 2 my son is 19 and my daughter will be 7 in November 2013. Some how they are 12 years apart but they share the same dead beat dad I was 16 when I had my son.

Okay so My mom was super obese and she passed away on August 20th of 2011 this is when I got to thinking, I want my moms strenght and shining personality but I do not want all the illnesses.

I started trying to change my life and find a new me even prior to that, the first was to get rid of my kids dead beat, the second was going to college I recieved my associates and I am working on my bachelors in social work.

So I am pretty sure obesity is an epidemic in my family some are not but I have a huge family with 5 sisters and 2 brothers and 18 nieces and nephews and 20 something greats

I was a skinny little thing when I was a kid, and not to put blame on someone for the start of my own obesity, I was 13 years old and spent the summer at my aunts I weighed like 89 lbs and I could fit into my one sisters capris that were size zero. I came home weighing 125, I still wasn't fat but holy that is alot of pounds. see my aunt and her children were obese, and I thing she subconsciously tried to make me more like her kids, when I was full she made me eat all on the plate even though when she served it I said it was too much for me...I never called my parents to complain because we did all sorts of fun things and my following summer there didn't help either.

Then at 15 I started in a size 14 and was losing weight and just got myself into size 10s but pretty soon they didn't fit, I was pregnant with my son

I got on birthcontrol depo provera for years and steadily gained weight into my 20's the scale hit 200 and I was like yikes and joined weight watchers went to the gym. walked alot. got off depo and prior to having my daughter I wore size 18s after that was more battling the bulge until 2009, I met this guy he like me for me and liked the plus size girls, I went from a size 18 to a 26 plus not good I was also back on depo and gained 90 lbs in a year I went from 240 to 322, as far as I know 322 was my highest, i was my higest recorded anyways.

in september of last year I got to 299 but october 4th Tim passed away, I was actually part of the lowell bariatric clinic and was going to have surgery in December but just stopped everything, this June I called back and restarted. on July 1 I weighed 314.5 and last week I was 307.2
because I am in school I can't do surgery til the break in december I could have been 8 months post op if I followed through last year

but now I have met the man of my dreams and he has my back with my wls plans
