  1. I was sleeved sept 11th. Had my post op visit. Lost about 35lbs. I thought the doc's scale was lying! I know a lot of that was fluid, I'm just glad to have started my journey to a healthy weight. I'm still struggling to get all the water I'm supposed to be sipping. I also need to get a protein powder. In the meantime I'm gonna sip this water. Speedy recovery to those who have gone, and good luck to those with upcoming surgeries.

    Easier than i thought

I'm planning to have 6 weeks off. I'm a transporter I'm a hospital. More often than not I am tired to help move patients from their needs to stretchers and move patients using either wheelchairs, stretchers or hospital beds. Not sure if I will need all six weeks, but I sure won't complain if the dr says to take them.
  3. My surgeon is not requiring any diet before the surgery but my friend and I are taking it upon ourselves to go liquid two days before. Not only will that get us started with getting used to drinking, not chewing, and also empty our insides for the surgery (I have a mostly unsubstantiated fear of pooping -peeing too, but mostly the pooping -during the surgery. I think I am especially sensitive because I work where I am having it done) I'm super excited to be on the path to better health, physically and emotionally. I am also scared to pieces of possible complications.
