    Hi. I had the same fear! I was sleeved September 9th, I asked before and was told, one would only be used in the event of complications. I didn't get one! I'd say the same, ask your Dr. Good luck, and best wishes!

    Aren't we all doing well? I think we are! I was sleeved 9/9/13 and lost 45lb before surgery, in total now lost 115lb. Very pleased! Daren't put my start weight.....that hurts to read! Generally been very good for me. Still get gas bad, some nausea. But basically great. Thanks everyone on here. Love reading everyone's stories and advice.

    Your possibly right Camper. The first 5-6 days after the op I was slightly heavier then before, then it just started falling.

    I dieted about 4 weeks before op. 2 weeks diet 2 weeks strict milk & yoghurt liver reduction diet. Lost about 42lbs pre-op.

    Well done! It's great isn't it? I'm almost 3 weeks out, and with the pre op diet, now lost a total of 72lbs! I'm delighted.

    Hi. One week on and I'm doing great! First two days were a bit tough. Had bad nausea. Gas pains were very bad. But now great! Still on liquid diet, feeling ready to move on To puréed. But trying not to! Hope everyone else is doing well. X
