Hi all:) I won't miss having to use a shower head with a hose attached so I can wash in the crevices of my fat! And I won't miss feeling like I need another shower 15 min later because I've started sweating just getting dressed! I can relate to all of your posts!!! It's gonna be nice to be on the other side soon:) my surgery day is 11/19! -

Hi all! Just wondering if anyone on here smokes pot occasionally? I do but plan on quitting very soon since I'm starting my pre-op diet nov 5th and having surgery on nov 19th! I love to smoke occasionally but I'm afraid of "the munchies" so I dont want to jeopardize my surgery or weight loss in any way! Would love some positive feedback! Thanks:)

Wow really? Thats good to know!! Because I get the munchies so bad now I was curious how it would be post op! I am scared to jeopardize my weight loss after surgery! -

does everyone lose hair after surgery? I am really worried about that even though I have tons of vitamins and protein for post surgery!

I'm having surgery on 11/19 so i am having thanksgiving dinner about 2 wks before surgery!! Its my favorite meal so I figure I should eat it so I dont have food envy this holiday!

Thanks to everyone for their supportive words! It means so much to get all this feedback from other sleevers!.. It feels like I'm at the edge of a cliff waiting to jump off..with a parachute of course:) but thats what it feels like to me..like I'm scared as hell but I know once I jump everything will be ok:) -

Thats awesome! Im glad u had a good experience! My doctor is dominick gadaleta he has gotten very good reviews and im having surgery at north shore lij also a center of excellence!..I did my labor&delivery rotation there in nursing school and had a great experience there! Hopefully all goes well for me..im getting my kitchen ready now..lol..how long will u be on liquid phase? -
