Wow sounds like your doing great! Thats awesome:) I just finished all of the testing the next step is for my surgeons office to submit everything to my insurance co for approval! Hopefully I will have a date sometime in October:) im really nervous but excited at the same time...ive heard some bad comments about mercy med center..how was your experience? -

I also feel like its now or never..I've been contemplating this surgery for the past 3yrs! I was in nursing school and just became an RN in sept 2012! When I get a nursing job I will be on my feet for 12 hour shifts so I have to have surgery for that reason and a thousand other reasons! Im also single and would like to meet someone. .I dont meet as many guys now that im so overweight:( -

Hi jenn:) good luck to you!!! I just finished all pre surgery tests so now im waiting for a date..hopefully in October! Im scared but excited. .do u feel ready?? -

Hi all:) im hoping to have my surgery in sept also..im just finishing up pre surgery testing! Im really mostly nervous about post op complications:( and I have a fear of vomiting so im hoping I dont have to deal with that after surgery!!! Yes I know the 2 week liquid diet is scary:( I also feel like I have been eating really badly lately because im trying to enjoy what is likely to be the last time I will be eating no no foods! I am currently about 347lbs 5"7 height..and hope to lose about 175lbs!!! Its gonna be a long road! -

Thanks will! I am an RN and have read pretty much everything there is on bariatric surgery specifically the sleeve but its still scary because each person is unique and heals differently. .I guess I'm most concerned and scared about complications during and after surgery! Have u had your surgery already?
