Ok. Hate The New Ipad App. Keeps Telling Me That Thread Pages Do Not Exist. They Do!

Don't like it either. Too many bugs. -
I had a follow-up appointment with my doctor and NUT today. I am 3 months post op. my NUT said I can expect my weight loss to slow down now that I've hit the 3 month mark and could expect 1 pound a week or so. She said most sleeves reach their goal in 18-24 months. If I only lose a pound a week or so, I'll be a whole lot longer than that. Anybody else been told that or find this is true?

1st postopp lesson: Don't be a slave to the scale!
Kennedy replied to Disabledaccount's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It's hard not to be the scale's slave. I am always hopeful when I get on the scale in the morning. If its not what I wanted, I'm pissed . Need to put that sucker away -
Laura-ven, I have another 200 pounds to lose though. I just don't see how it's possible to lose that in the next 18-24 months.

I ran into the same. I stalled about a month ago for 2 weeks. Drove me crazy. Talked to ny NUT and she looked at my food diary. She told me I needed to eat more. That is so foreign to me. I asked what my dal intake should be and she said not to even worry about cals. Eat, get protein and drink enough water. Finally she told me at my weight I should be eating at least 1200 cals but more toward 1600. Was really hard to go to that and when I did I gained a few pounds. I freaked. She said not to worry, that my body was putting back the muscle it burned when I wasn't eating enough. She was right. I've lost 9 pounds I 2 weeks. Definitely not normal for me. I'm a slower loser. I'm still struggling with my brain saying too many cals. Each day is a struggle, but WE CAN DO THIS! -

Six buttons, you could be my foodie twin . I'm almost 3 months out and I miss junk food. I started out at 410, so I thought ir would fall off, but it hasn't. Trying to come to terms that I'm a slow loser. Most times I can handle it last night I lost it and at probably 7-8 mini candy bars. Afterwards I was so depressed I couldn't stand myself. Deja vu. I slept late this morning and got up behind on my water. And my weight was up too. Depressing. I've been moping around all day and I'm hungry. Gotta shake this. I feel better just writing this down. Just call me Scarlettbecause tomorrow is another day -
Don't remember who suggested that I try dry roasted edamame, but thanks! Delicious
-
Oh yeah, I'm almost 3 mos post op. I make sure I chew, chew chew:)
-
I actually bought it. I ordered mine from amazon but health stores probably carry it too. Tastes almost like dry roasted peanuts. 2oz ha 130 cals and 14 g protein. They weight really light so 2 oz is quite a bit.
