I couldn't resist last night - hate cooking for the family at the moment - made salmon cooked with capers, onion and peppers with cream sauce, potatoes in small bits, carrots and beans lightly steamed - all looked and smelt soooo good! Tasted the sauce and chewed and chewed and ------ yes spat out. **shame***

Was sleeved on 6th so day 4. Home and very comfortable with no pain but light headed and a bit shaky - probably from not eating? Just feel excited and saw scales already down 7kg. Seems fast and I guess it will go up and down a bit. Trying to keep moving, will walk fast, move arms around etc. Maybe swing some food cans ?? LOL They say weights are good. I just wish the smell of food or thought of it was not so very enticing. -

Hope it reasures you that I have no pain at all! Am at home and day 4 today. Did expect some as had extra things - huge hernia in tummy, many adhesions from 4 previous surgeries as well as sleeve. Doc must be amazing - feel better than after any of them. Just take what offered if you need it hon. -

Had mine done on the 6th. No preparation asked for and surgery went well, 2 1/2 hours operating. Had a hernia that doc fixed - said I didn't know I had one and he said most of us previous banders have them! Nice to know! No pain but offered relief frequently. I am having a little trouble drinking all that is required and still on drip but doc happy and home tomorrow which is great as very bored here. Not hungry at all BUT when hubby came for a visit and ate corned beef sandwich in front of me my mouth was watering. Going to have to watch that as have to do a lot of cooking once home. -

I Got My Head Shrunk

I met with psych and she refused me surgery for 3 months. Had to see my own GP and get on antidepressants. I have a son with behaviour probs and a lot more and when I stress I eat. Feeling good now, surgery for next week. Can't stay on the anti depressants for ever though. -

In just over a week - the 6th. Am getting excited now too. Just hoping that if this time I WILL NOT FAIL after trying and failing before so many diets. Just keep thinking it is the start of my new life!
