I decided in February 2013 that enough was enough and WLS was my last resort. I was struggling with maintaing 260lbs and I had sever gastritis and was constantly being hospitalized. In October 2012 I completed a endoscopy during a inpatient stay and was told I had a hietic hernia. Wow, over ten years of suffering they finaly found something. I initially wanted lap band and met with my surgeon on my WLS options. I immediatly decided for the verticle sleeve due to the reseach and the complications I was constanly seeing people were having. I began my verticle sleeve journey and has not turned back. I am so excited on whats to come and my results. I am excited because this is a tool that is assisting m with hanging my lifestyle and for me to address the true issues of my life. I was sleeved August 29th, 2013 and so far okay!
