I need help. I'm 5 months out and have been doing ok. I have lost 62 lbs. I started going to the gym about three weeks ago and have been burning about 400 - 600 calories per day. I use the treadclimber and do the circuit and abs. I have GAINED 3 lbs. this is so dishearting. I know it is not suppose to be about the scales, but when you have been overweight all your life and feel you are finally doing everything right ......

My only goals that I have is: 1) get off all 11 meds and insulin I was taking. I have one blood pressure pill and cymbalta for fibromyalgia which the surgeon said I had to take for a year. So goal #1 almost met. 2) weigh 1 lb less than my husband. Still working on this, about 40 lbs to go for that, but if he keeps mouwing down the chips it may come sooner, lol Other than that I have no strict goals. I'm very happy with the way things are going. Set your own goals and don't measure by anyone else's .

Today was like Christmas and my Birthday when I was a kid! I went shopping (clearance sales of course) and got to shop in the "normal sizes" first time ever in my adult life. Whoop, whoop!

I finally am getting rid of mine. What a load. Here is mine. Giving them to a friend.

Laura you have done so great, we have just about the same surgery date. What is you secret? I know your a lot younger.

I had my sleeve 9/17. It's nice to see how other at 4 months are doing. I seem to be a stair step looser. Loose, stall, loose, stall. It can be so frustrating.
