I was 25 when I was ta my goal weight I wore a 31, 32 levi jeans and look good I was about 170 pounds and look and felt fantastic, I started gaining weight after I starting working at a job I once love and then started to despise and hate. I had reach the goal of 332 pounds and I said enough is enough and I started making changes, I went to school received my bachelors degree hen went back and got my masters degree then I said i got this and had rny and I am loving life and my new job, as well as the new me. My personal goal is to get back down to 170 and I know I can do it.

Anyone Considering Plastic Surgery ?
Cupcake replied to Cupcake's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
If you have lost 100 pounds or more your insurance will cover it. I have already received my referral letters from my insurance company and they said they will cover it. -
I agree with the above statements i have had several stalls and I just go back to the basics intake less then you are working out but do not compromise your Protein, Vitamins, and Water.
-

-
I would check with my doctor because with you getting all of your water, vitamins and protein in you should be feeling a little bit better but remember that you body is still adjusting. Keep us posted on your progress.

Gastric bypass over Sleeve
Cupcake replied to Faerietailz's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I would do what makes me happy and if your doctor is in support of this I would go for it, I had the option to have either one but I choose the bypass because it is the gold standard and there is almost more history on it, I also selected the RNY because I did not want to do a redo and take a chance of acid reflex because you do not know once your body changes and I was already suffering from heart burn when I eat certain food. You deserved to be happy and I would just do it. Congrats on your choice on being healthy and good luck. -
LOL I agree with the above statements we have gotten so use to looking at ourselves with full faces and full bodies that sometimes you have to do a double take to ensure that the person is you.
-
Djmohr I agree with your statement if you drink the Protein shakes as a Meal Replacement and drink your Water and have a small dinner the weight will come off in time, you can do this , remember what they are looking at is do you have the dedication to make life changes, they already understand that lossing weight is a challenge. You got this. Keep us posted.
-
Congrats on your choice on being healthy you will be welcoming the new you very soon, people do not understand the struggles that we go though and the health issues unless they are facing the same challenges, I do not regret the fact that I had this life changing event everyday , I look in the mirror and I am not ashamed of how i look in my clothes, I feel beautiful now and I now do not get the statement you have such a cute face now I have a cute healthy body to go with my cute healthy face. I have had so many doors open up for me since loosing the weight and this change has also shown me the prejudice of being overweight . I have men and women running to open doors for me and giving me compliments, I have always bee smart and now when I enter a room I not only get admiring looks but the attention I deserve because I have something of value to share. Keep me posted on your progress and we are always hear to help , feel free to add me as a friend and contact me anytime.
