Congrats I went to my seminar in August of this year and I was inform the next day my surgery was approved and all I have to do is a 6 month weight management. So I am looking forward to Jan 2014 .

I agree my surgery will be in Jan 2014 as well as I am using this time to learn more, prep more as well as try different shakes and continue to exercise.

I know at my clinic if you gain any weight they will cancel your surgery , I will be very careful. And if you can see if you can go on a liquid diet to loose the extra weight. Good luck.

I an due to have surgery in Jan 2014 I plan on taking two weeks off and if needed an additional another week after that. I want to get back into the stream of things,

Hi have you tried premier shakes they sell them at Sams Club and Costco, I have been drinking them everyday for 3 months.

Hi put it behind you and start again to make good choices, now that you realize what you have done do no continue to dwell on it, tell your self I am going to take one day at a time , and remember why you are going through this, we are not all perfert and we all make mistakes, the key is that you know what mistakes you have made and you know what you need to do to correct your actions.

Congrats to you both for making the choice to be healthy and not just thin. This is a life time commitment . I know you can do it. This forum has really help me as well as the wounderful people on this site, I am not due to have my surgery until Jan 2014 but I have learned so much from everyone here. I look forward to sharing ideas and the ups and downs.

I do understand your point, but we me since my insurance pays 100 percent , I am willing to go through the 6 months, I can honestly say its been 3 months so far and I have learned so much about my self, as well as eating, and why I am eating. I now make wise food choices and really look at what I am eating, am I eating because I had a stressful day at work, or even ask myself am I hungry , or just eating because this is something that I have aways done. When I am stress now I go for a walk, I journal, I even go sit in my car or my office with the lights out to regroup. I would have love to have my surgery early but to be honest I just can not afford the debt. But kudos to those of you who can.

I'm hoping that all of out time fly by quickly and we all have a successful surgery. I wish I would have started this early this year but I'm now doing the count down for my last three months .i am required to loose 20 pounds in 6 months so far I am down 10 .

My husband is only coming to my appointment when I met the surgeon , nut, and to signed off on the paperwork for surgery this meeting is 3-4 hours and he is saving his time so that he can take off when I have my procedure.
