i have been having a lot of heart burn issues and it was suggested fro me to have the bypass, I will be meeting with the surgeon on March 5, my last surgeon aid I would do fine with either one. I am looking forward to this journal, I do have a sweet tooth so I am looking at that as well. But I have begun making better choices and eating only when I am hungry and not out of boredom or stress.

Thats great and you look great I cant wait to join you I wear a size 22 and hoping to get down to a 8 as well. I see the surgeon on March 5 hoping to get my surgury done two after.

You got a pretty good list, I think you got it all. Please post what happen, I have mine scehduled for March 5 and would like to get some type of idea what to expect I know I was told I will be there for 4 hours.

I am still waiting and I'm going into month 8 I meet with the surgeon on March 5 2014 , so font get fixated on 6 month because it can be longer depending on your surgeon .

Hi I love my fitness pal I have not tried the other but my fitness pal is great i can chart everything from my macbook pro, iphone or ipad its great and I love it. Also my doctor can see what I have been eating without me keeping a separate journal.

Nobby yes I plan on taking pictures before and after, I will be taking them monthly so that I can remember how hard I work to get to the new me. I have even bought a special book just for this. Totaloser I am sorry that you gave no family support but be proud of your self for being healthy let no one take that away from you or you be ashame. I would find me a therapist ASAP it a family therapist so that you and your family can collectively work together to discuss their fears, emotions, and changes . Your friends sound jealous . I would drop them like a bad habit , true friends love you unconditionally , there are no strings attach. We are here from you please feel free to email me . Kelsmurf hi and welcome congrats on your choice to be healthy, you say you are doing this to reverse your type 2 diabetics as well as fear of you regaining weight back. Your fears are normal, I had the option of either the sleeve or the gastric bypass, I suggest you do some additional research I am looking into the gastric bypass now because it almost 99 percent reverse type 2 diabetics, it has the malabsorption if you like sweets or have a sweat tooth, my husband is fixated in that one, I'm going to see my surgeon next month to review everything I have been hoping through this process for 7 and a hard months.there are wonderful people here with great advice good look.
