You can do this I have surgery in 11 days and I know that without this surgery my health issues will continue or get worse, why would I want to change my mind on something that I know that will prolong my life and make me become healthy. So many people hear pray for approval from their insurance company and I know after Oct 1 of this year there are many changes coming regarding health care and insurance. I know for a fact that all of the diets that I have tried have fail and this is y only opportunity to be healthy again, the fear you are propbably feeling is fear from success. It is easier to accept who you are now because you have been living with this for your life time. Its time to live for a healthy you. Good luck.

Ready4life14 Congrats I am so happy for you , your due to have surgery right after me, Its getting so real only I have 12 more days before the new me begin, I cant wait to share stores and updates. We are going to take one day at a time and prep, have you started buying your sugar free popsickels, pudding, and soup? Have you decided how much time you are going to take off?

I start my preopt this Friday after I meet with the surgeon one last time, I am only required to do a week but I have been watching what I gave been eating, and now I have a bad cold and just got antibiotics today to ensure I'm good to go for surgery.

I drink premier Protein shake everyday, and even have tried the bars, I like the shakes better, I also like grape frost isopure, I plan in buying more isopure in prep for my surgery along with sugarfree pop sickles , I already have the chicken flavor unjury on stand by, 14 days and counting now until my May 5 surgery. Hi my doctor puts it in after they have sedated you in the operating room, congrats on making the choice to be healthy.

What are you eating, start reducing your sugars and drabs remember everything you eat turns into sugar, replace at least 1 meal with a protein drink you will see a huge difference in a month.

Reaching High yes this is standard you meet with the nutritionist as well as the surgeon and the anesthesiologist they will go over your medical health as well as all medications for a medical clearance, they you may have one more meeting in which you signed all hospital paperwork . Congrats on your decision on being healthy.

My prayers go out to you and your friend, but you must ask yourself are you fearful of the unknown or the opportunity to live a longer or health life, many things go into play regarding surgery, you have to remain positive and make the best choice for you, if you stay at your current health what are your chances of a healthy you. Well my may is quickly approaching, is anyone counting down the days, what have you prep so far for your special day? I am counting down the days until my May 5 surgery date and I have 18 days until show time. LOL.

Hi everyone I'm glad everyone is going great my surgery is scheduled for May 5 and I am so excited I will be going to meet with my surgeon next Friday and to sign all remaining hospital paperwork , I gave been waiting for this it feels like a lifetime, I have been approved 100% so that's a double blessing. I am only going to take two weeks off I hope it's enough but I don't have a demanding job and will hd sitting 90 percent of the time.

Hi I agree with mentalistfan my program gave me 6 sheets to have my pc to fill out it detail my height, weight, comorbilities , progress, the diet as well as the exercise I was on to show in detail to my insurance company my efforts, make sure you attend all sessions, if you miss one appointment in the month it's due and don't make it up in the same month you have to restart the entire 6 months . Congrats on your choice to be healthy and make sure you get copies of everything, all reports, and test.

Yolotexas hi congrats on your choice to be healthy , I agree with your statement I'm going to try and take one day at a time after my surgery although I have the support of my family , it's going to be everyone else who may be told later. Still doing the count town I have 23 days left before the new me begins.

Chez thank you I am looking most to shopping in a department store and buying clothing that does not have a large anything on them as well as having more energy so I can do some of the things I like to do with my family such as take a picture and be happy in it as well as ride a bike again, the most thing I fear believe it or not is having my first drink to see how my body is going to handle it as well as pain since my favorite pain reliever is excederine.
