Hello my May buddies surgery went excellent on May 19 I came hone yesterday , trying to adjust still have pain but manageable, I can't believe I can only drink 3-4 ounces and I'm full wishing everyone the best .

Mtwtv71 thanks and I will, going yo watch Games of Thrown shower with that special antibacterial soap and go to bed , so I can be up at 4:00 am to get to the hospital on time thanks again.

Pretty blue I'm from Michigan and congrats on your surgury date. * I have already pack my bags and meds lol in prep for tomorrow, I am only raking toiletries! ipad charger! mifi , crossword book! gas x strips! car max! and I am wearing the same loose clothes home as suggested by my surgery team . Oh and I am packing my makeup bag lol . I will be posting my progress as soon as I can . I am scheduled for thr hospital st 5:30am and in surgery at 7:30 am to all my surgery buddies we got this and good luck, painless surgery, walk, sip, and relax we got this . I will be off and on this diet all day but going yo bed today at 8:00 am to get so good night sleep as suggested by my surgsery team .

Hi I agree with all of the above statements you must stay focus if you want to be successful with your new tool, your pre surgery diet sounds great to me all I have been allowed is protein shakes sugarfree Popsicles and puffing this is my last day and it's just clear liquids and no protein and tomorrow is surgery good luck I can say each day on the liquid diet gets better.

Hi my May buddies I have 24 more hours and it's surgery time, I'm so excited I don't know how I'm going to sleep tonight I have been waiting for this for so long what is everyone else doing to stay busy any last minute suggestions ?

Just got the surgery call I have to be at the hospital Monday May 19/14 at 5:30 am surgery at 7:30am yippie .

Lol my May surgery buddies we are almost to the finished line, I can't believe it's day 5 on my liquid diet and I haven't cheated once and I am under 400 calories a day and surviving, lol just 4 more days until surgery, I should get my surgery time today between 2-5 the surgery team will call with my surgery time I can't wait we all got this I can't wait until we can all share stories .

Thanks everyone my doctor says no binder for me but I mushing through this liquid diet, 4 more days and counting. Anyone decided how long they are taking off work?

I am do to have my surgery Monday I am taking only two weeks off and I will be back at work, I am hoping that I have a easy recovery without nay complications , I have seen most doctors offer just two weeks off because by the you will have your first appointment. but everyones program is different. Congrats and wow that was quick and even nicer you have a surgery date so quickly, I was approve d in 24 hours and had to do a 6 month weight management and have to wait an additional 4 months to get a surgery date , I am on the preopt liquid diet now and I am having surgery Monday. So I am doing the count down with you lol.

I just finished my last 6 month weight management with my doctor now I have to wait two months before seeing my surgeon for consultation . my appointment with him is 4 hours, did anyone else have to do this ?
