Hi it comes off between 1-3 pounds a week but everyone is different and you may have stalls remember as long as your eating right and getting in your protein and walk the weight will come off everyone is different and loose weight differently . Congrats on your choice to be healthy.

I agree with the above statements it is no one business , if your family and friends were not there for you when you went through your depression you dont need their permission for this now, you have the right people in your life as well as support from your husband, children, and many church friends that has help you, congrats on your choice to be healthy.

Im sorry that this happened to you and I know how you feel my surgery date was moved due to an emergency but before you know it your date and surgery time will come and it will all be so worth the wait. Good luck and congrats on your choice to being healthy, keep us posted on your progress.

Wow I agree most hospitals have an evaluation regarding their program after surgery I would ensure that this is mentioned on their surgery. Congrats on your choice to being healthy and congrats on your weight loss.

Hi Cindy and welcome and congrats on your choice on being healthy, I was going to get the sleeve original but went with the RNY due to my acid reflex and diabetics 2 , I live in Mi as well , I know this is an exciting time for you and trust me everything is so well the wait , I had my procedure on May 19 and I am feeling great and I was take off all of my medications 2 days off of surgery. Have you decided on a doctor yet?

Hi you will be ask a bunch of questions as well as you may be given a questioner, thats what happen at my eval and it took 2 hours , I was ask about my support system and how everyone feels about my surgery as well as how I felt and handle different situations i also was ask to remember certain things as well. Wow that forum was awful they should have been encouraging you to stay exercising , because we have a tool we need to make the necessary changed for our new life. I know I'm going to do everything possible to ensure I meet my goal weight and stay healthy I don't miss giving myself injections not one bit and I don't miss having to take a nap everyday after work.

Jtickle thats great I am glad that one of your friends has seen the benefits from this surgery my reason for having my procedure was because of my diabetics type 2 as well I got tired of taking 5 shots a day and with high blood pressure and high cholesterol that was the final straw, I will be getting enrolling into LaFitness this Thursday so that I can take advantage of their aqua aerobics and other exercise equipment, I have been walking everyday now and getting in all of my required Water and i see with just this adjustment i drop 11 pounds this week. My goal is to go to the gym at lest 5-6 days a week as well as continue to walk. My husband said I have transfered my food addiction to exercise, lol but its ok because I feel great and I want to hit my goal by my anniversary date which is May 19.keep us posted .

Jtinkle how are you today I am sure that as you progress and get into the gym you will meet several like minded friends. Your ex-friends are jelouse you are now focusing on your overall quality of life which is a positive thing. Stay focus and show them all you got this, perhaps they will see your success and began to make necessary healthy choices of their own.

Stall is over Im happy to report that I drop 11 pounds in 1 week, I spoke with my nutritionist and she advised me to ensure that I get in all of my Water and Protein and exercise at least 30 minutes to 45 minutes a day or walk for the same amount of time I have been during this since Monday and I have noticed that I have more energy as well as I am eating now every 2-3 hours small meal to ensure that i am getting all of my protein in. I have one premiere Protein shake and one Protein Bar every day which equals 50 grams of protein then I eat fish or tune or chicken for the remaining protein in which it ends up being my lunch. I want something else in the day i eat a sugarfree popsickle. Hopes this helps someone.
