I am 5 months out and while I don't eat sugar all the time I have had bites of things here and there and salad with lite dressing and haven't had any issues.

Highest wt just before surgery 270lbs Surgery date. 4/4/13 Current wt this morn. 211lbs I'm 5'2".

Decided to get some BBQ today since its smoked meats no sauce on it. This is what was left AFTER I ate my 1 1/2 oz. not counting the mound of slaw that I didn't eat. will be eating this for days lol. I will wrap some and freeze so I can eat next week and not be tired of it Wish restaurants would start offering Bariatric sizes. But then they'd prob. Not make as much profit off them. Oh we'll. thank goodness for freezers! Ham brisket and chicken

Had the same aversion to smells right after too. Id say it started getting better in the third month. My tastes r still changed tho which is so odd to me. But this is the best thing I've ever done for sure!

I usually end up with three or four meals from my order when eating out. My daughter in law saves me the plastic baby food containers with lids ( she has twin boys so goes thru a lot). They work perfectly and I freeze the portions.

I got the chews Carmel and choc. Both were really good. Felt like my daily treats. Two. Twice daily. I had the celebrate brand. And Bariatric choice carries some also. A little pricey. But worth it.

I had my first study done and it was awful! All the wires and crap plus the bed was the most uncomfortable one I've ever been on! It was uneven and the mattress hung off the end I only slept two hrs all night they said I had constant episodes of stopping breathing like almost every min. Hmmm since I didn't sleep all that much..... Anyway said thanks got the info but I'd wait till I reach my goal weight before looking into it If then.

My dr requires me to take. A daily vitamin. A vitamin d. Calcium citrate. Sublingual b12. Biotin. From now on most likely. My iron was good so no xtra iron needed. And of course the 80-100 grms of protein.oh and he said I shouldn't ever use Motrin or aleve or any other insaids as it increases the chance of stomach bleeding Only Tylenol.

Yup. All sounds hauntingly familiar. I've always avoided the cameras at most functions and last Christmas when I was at my heaviest I saw the pictures with me in them and felt like someone kicked me in the gut. I started to think of how few pics there really r of me in all the family albums and this made me sad. I realized it was selfish of me cuz now there r not many to pass to the kids and grand kids for them to keep. Didn't seem too important to me before I lost my dad but now I realize how dear those pics r to me. I'm glad he didn't shy from the camera (he was also obese ) I am looking forward to being at a weight (physically and mentally) where I can truly smile at the camera. I will try to do better thus holiday season even tho I'm still far from my goal.

I found them at HEB next to the tortillas. Saw at Walgreens. Haven't checked Walmart but think they have them too. If u look up flat out wraps and click find a store and put in ur zip it should give u locations
