I like him too. He does seem to put a more personal touch on things than many doctors. He went out and talked to my husband too.

I could hardly move 2 days ago. I called my husband at work and asked him to please try to come home as soon as possible to help take care of our 3 children. I had become pretty dehydrated. I used a spoon and ate a powerade slush slowly. I literally laid down all evening raising up to sip more. After the powerade I began to feel better. I have sipped Gatorade or powerade all weekend. It's finally much better. I will be very careful from now on! Terrible feeling. I hope you are better!!

I hope it gets better soon!! I am a side sleeper! So i get what you are saying!!! Hard enough to rest when you are slightly uncomfortable, then add having to sleep in a different position than we are use to just stinks!

My surgery was July23rd! How about you??

My surgery was on the 23rd and I can just now lay on my side comfortable. I found putting a pillow under my side helps.

I am with the same clinic! Dr Balder is my doc! Neat!!! Oh and I haven't met the hottie. Lol. I'll check that out.

Is this normal??? My surgery was July 23rd. It is hard to put one foot in front of the other at times. Other than that, I feel fine. Please share your experiences!

Thanks for all the replies! It helps so much to hear other a experiences! I will try to focus more on my fluids and protein shakes. I am not getting enough. Plus taking my vitamins is a real chore. Maybe that will help. As described in a reply, I too have to just stop and sit or lie down after housework or doing for my children. I teach school and go back to work next week. Thanks again for the encouragement. Just knowing its pretty normal for many of us to feel like this helps me relax more about it!! Best wishes to all of you!

I has surgery in July 23rd. I had 60 pounds to lose and have lost 7 as of today. But some people say they lost 15/20 the first week and I wonder to myself, am I the one person who won't lose much after all of this?? Thanks for this thread.

Hi, I have been sitting here trying to figure the site out enough to reach out when I saw your message. I had surgery on Monday, July 22. I have had extreme pain below my left breast bone with any deep breath. I don't feel a lump. But can touch the exact place that hurts and pressure is unbearable. Tonight I am so fatigued I am struggling. I feel a strain in my left chest area with deep breaths tonight in addition. I think our issue sounds similar with the location of the pain and all. I am interested to see what others say and I hope you get answers tomorrow and feel better!

This is my first time typing on here. So I hope it shows up in the right place. I had surgery on Monday, 22nd. I think we are on the exact schedule! I don't know an answer to your question. I just got excited to find a person who had surgery on my same day!!
