Thank you very much! -
I went through something similar in the beginning & I also hid in my room because I could not stand the sight of food let alone have to smell it. It sucks big time but that too shall pass. These are all normal stages of the process in the beginning & I am sure there are others who also felt the same way & there will others who follow behing you who may experience similar experiences. Just stay positive, stay on course, keep your eyes on the prize, & just like life take it all one step at a time. You are doing great & your rewards will be all your NSV's!!!
-
Yeah those are the lucky few. Most people on here know how your feeling & experienced it to some degree just as you are. I am happy for the ones who are able to breeze through the first couple of weeks but for those of us who did not have it so easy, those weeks sucked.

Don't worry before you know it the pain will just be gone... each day you will start feeling better until one day hou just suddenly realize you don't hurt anymore. The burping will lessen as well very soon. You gotta give yourself & your new tummy a chance to heal! Stay strong & stay positive!!! Make sure you walk a lot it will help with the gas a lot & also try chewable gas-x... it was my best friend when I first came home from the hospital!

I still get the burping & growling at times & I'm a lil over 8 mths po. The emotional part of it is normal. Mine hit about a week po & I felt like I was losing my mind but it all will pass, just try to stay positive & keep your eye on the prize which is healthier, happier you from your new life journey!

Yea those things can definitely drive a person nuts.. I used to hit the silent button if they didn't come soon enough... they would yell at me for it but sorry I can not & will not sit & listen to tht noise for forever. I would hit the silent button & then press the call button like crazy lol!
-
Just be patient a lil longer & u will be home in ur own bed soon & all this will be nothing more then a distant memory!
-
How long do you have to stay in the hospital? I was only in for 24 hrs & then home. Hope u start feeling better soon! When u get home get some gas-x chewables they helped so much & also walk as much as u can tolerate.

That is so true... & it really is sad to see how much things have changed on here since they switched it over & also to see how many have left the site. There are several I miss seeing on & I really do hope they come back & offer more of their wisdom & experiences. -

All I can say is WOW GIRL!!! You look AMAZIIIINNNGGGG!!! Congratulations on your success what beautiful pictures & also a great way to celebrate your surgiversary!!! -
Aside from the fact that you look great in them & I am sure you look even greater in the other colors you bought in an even smaller size, anyone can get away with wearing pink nowadays especially since it stands for breast cancer awareness & finding a cure!!! So not only are you showing of your awesome success but also supporting a fantastic cause!!!
