Yes you will. Maybe not right away, there is a small window where you may hate it but it won't last long. At least for me it didn't. I wish you the best as you begin your new journey!!! -

Really frustrated!
cherbear33 replied to jamie5711's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Have you been taking your measurements as well? Sometimes when the scale is not moving the inches are melting away. Also you could be building up some muscle which could make the scale look as though it is not moving. Stay positive & keep your head up!!! Yoh should be extremely proud of the weight you have lost so far. Dont get yourself down or stress the scale too much. It is just a number, instead loon for those no scale victories people talk about on here all the time best wishes on your journey!!!! May God Bless You!!!! -

cherbear33 replied to Dee White's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hey girl!!!! Keep your head up!!!! Remember to put all your faith in gods hands & let him guide you through your weight loss journey!!! Have your husband hide the scale on you & try to only weigh yourself once a week. If you have trouble doing only once a week then allow yourself 2 days a week to weigh in. "A watched pot never boils" if you keep watching the scale every day or several times a day the process seems to go slower because we are watching every pound/every ounce on our bodies. I know how it is, I too was weighing myself everyday & it would make me so upset whem I did not see the resy lts I thought I should. But now I try to not weigh so often & try to stick to once a week. Dont stress yourself out so much about the numbers on the scale. Go by how you feel, measure yourself weekly. Sometimes when the scale dont move you could be losing inches instead of pounds. But most of all pray to our lord jesus christ to guide you along your journey!!!! He is always with you & all things are possible when we trust in him. Dear Lord, please watch over Dee & help give her the encouragement & strength she needs along her weight loss journey & in all aspects of her life & guide her through all the things she is going through AMEN!!! -

It will pass. I went through it as well at a week after surgery & again at 3 weeks aftwr surgery. It was hell but I started walking & found that helped me a lot to deal with the overwhelming feelings & emotions that were trying to take over my mind & body. Try to stay busy, find somethi g soothing to do. Everyone is different so you just have to find what may work for you all. I find I can kewp it all at bay for the most part as long as I stay busy & use up some of the energy I have. I am now 7 weeks out so it has been 4 weeks since I have had an episode. Keep your head up, keep faith, & keep pushing forward. May god walk beside you all & help you all on your journey to a new, healthier, happuer you!!!!
