The usual, lost and gained, always upwards over the years. Type 2 Diabetes out of control even on insulin 250+ fasting. Feet problems, multiple cellulitisis attacks. Finally had to take my life back, I can's beleive it was as easy as it's been. Surgery was a breeze out in 24 hours. no complications.

Diabetes meds stopped day after surgery, weight loss, no cravings, starting on ground foods 2 days ago, I fill up quickly and don't want evening snacks anymore.

Only worry is this can't last and things will backslide (lost 100 Lbs 25 years ago on regular diets and excercize for about 3 years).

Goal is to get to 199 at least for a day. It's been since high school since I was in that neighbhood.Just wished I didn't wait till 57 to make this decision.

I'm an Engineer and we overthink everything, don't delay on this decision if you need to take back your life. Throw you hat over the fence and as they say you'll have no choice but to go get it!!!!!
