When did you start the process for the surgery. I am just curious to see how long from the first appointment to the actual surgery date. Is there anything to do to help the process along. Thanks for the feeback.

Hi. My name is Lauren and I am a 21 year old in New Mexico. I have struggled with my weight for as long as I can remember. I have finally decided to really do something about it and get the Lap Band. I have my first appointment in Arizona in two weeks and I am so nervous. I just want to get it all done with. Although I'm nervous, I'm really excited to start this new chapter of my life.
