she felt that the athletes foot on her husband was beyond unacceptable
Madam Reverie posted a topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
HAHAHAHA GOTCHA! Okay, I was going to make a funny.. by copying and pasting some random story, totally unrelated to the title and then inserting things like: 'MENS hair REMOVAL CREAM AVAILABLE' More random story... and then perhaps a bit more: 'Although I havent tried yet, I can imagine the cream would be quite an irritant for any sensitive skin area i.e. parts of the back/bottom. has anybody tried waxing their *** themselves with the strips?...I think I will have to use the cream on my back just because I am not flexible enough to wax it myself!" (a true analysis of a hair removal cream on a 'healthy mens' website) and then a bit more random story... But I thought I'd get told off.. So I didn't... <skulks off to sit in the naughty corner> -

Lol!! I love your humor Madam!!! Thank you, Darlink x -
Aww, honey. It's difficult to say without a bit more detail... It would all be conjecture... I'm really sorry this happened to you though. That's an awful thing for someone to do without any explanation. Could you just ask him straight? If he's going cold on you, you might have nothing to lose by just calling him out on it? You never know.. he might have something going on in his life that's not related, but has impacted on his ability to 'connect'.. Or, of course, he could be a total cold, heartless so-and-so... If it was me, I'd call him out on it... I wish I could help you further. Sorry honey x

lol yeah, if someone did that to me, I'd be feeling pretty patronised, too. People don't mean to come across like that - to be fair - and most of the time. It comes from a 'good place'.. (bit like the 'happy place' ) Try not to let it get to you. I always find bashing my head repeatedly on my keyboard often helps with the temporary 'OH FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!!!' moments.

That's size-ist! Or is it weight-ist?! I dunno.. I'll just shut up now

Pcos And The Sleeve
Madam Reverie replied to Ariella's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have PCOS and I can see a change in my hormones. Apart from breaking out in a load of spots recently - I've had two 'cycles' that have lasted over 17 days each... (not pleasant - particularly as I'm on a pill which is alleged to stop me having them ) But... I can't imagine that my nutritionist would have told me to be 'exceptionally careful' with regards to my birth control, if there weren't changes afoot and I needed to be 'exceptionally careful' not to get preggers. I don't know where your insurance person got their info from - but if you need some additional information, I can see if I can dig up some sleeve-specific gumpf for you.. Unless she's got confused with PCOS and Diabetes - of which RNY would be the preferred procedure - as it has such a rapid impact on that.... May I enquire how high your BMI is? That, too, might have an impact on their suggestions? -

Think before you eat... Something we all know about but do we really do it?
Madam Reverie replied to ljmasterdebater's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Oh, NMJG, it's a shocking newspaper... All that ever appears is The Kardashians, Beiber <blesses herself after naming the one who should not be named>, Z-List celebrities, sensationalist tripe about the 'foreigners invading britain and living off benefits' and a daily dose of Princess Diana, who and without fail, makes an appearance at least 20 times a week... despite being dead since '07... Critical analysis is not really their thang.. if you get my meaning -
Hehe, I wonder how many people are reporting them? I've reported everyone I've come across... So.. if I've done it.. if you've done it.. maybe everyone is doing it?! Maybe it's a canny way to hack off the admins and fill their 'complaint' boxes full of knob jumble

Found this. It's from the Daily Mail newspaper (not very reputable) but the coroners verdict was lodged in Cornwall, UK.. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-2159155/Obese-woman-suffocates-food-gastric-bypass-surgery-meant-couldn-t-fit-stomach.html -
Okay, I'll give up carbs... Now, lets bring on the Colombian marching powder! Devils Dandruff? No? Oh, okay, I'll retreat into my gut-wrenching longing for warm crusty bread, smothered in full-fat, slightly salt-crystalled butter... but I shall refrain... and have a yoghurt Great article, Arts. Seriously. Carbs, are most definitely, my achilles heel..... <sobs>

Yay us, for the 'lower' BMI! I think we might all be slow losers.. However, it's all good in the hood. We're getting there. Nice to meet you all -
'Course you don't. We all know if I 'went on one', you'd be clearing it up in teams for at least 48 hours
