Take THAT! Christmas!
Madam Reverie replied to Madam Reverie's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
Aww, RJ! 'Cute'?!!! I've never been called 'cute' in my life! I am actually 5ft 10! I guess it was the angle of my body and legs. The legs are 33 inches long and had 4 inch heels at the bottom of them, so nope, definitely not 'compact', by any stretch! Next time any photos are to be taken, I'll make sure it's a full length body-shot with no Guinness and table obstruction. Hehe, it's tickled me being called 'cute'. Made my day x -
Vomiting/Dry Heave 4.5 Months Post-Op
Madam Reverie replied to Mkak's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Take it very easy for the next week to let it settle. I had a 'moment'. For the following week I drank Protein shakes and ate very smooth food, just to be on the safe side. Unless you've got pains elsewhere or a fever, I wouldn't worry too much. Just try to be kind to your body for a bit -
yay! Welcome to the madness, Moni! Here's to a swift recovery and an excellent 2014. All the best and keep us posted x

Its the lack of carbs. I have a heated bed blanket. I sit on it, I sleep on it. I would live in it if I could!

Feeling sorry for my self...pity party
Madam Reverie replied to AngiD's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
You have every reason to feel disappointed. But, you have done so AMAZINGLY well on your own leading up to this. As much as it hurts; head down, grit your teeth and attack this monster. You can do it. Slay this dragon and you'll soon be in for round two and this time, it will happen for you. My thoughts are with you x -
Yippppppeeeeeeeeeee! Nicely done, lady. Enjoy it x

and a good looking sexy overweight you are! Love ur hair. Thanks, honey. I scraped it up with far too much mousse. It was like a rock of lego-hair, glued to my head! My man seemed to appreciate the finished ensemble, so I didn't have much to complain about.. Other than the black and blue ankle at the end of the evening! -

Lookin' foxy, Lady! x -
Gerrard Butler.. He'dve got it when he starred in 300 and his accent was properly Scottish. Scottish men.. Mmmmmm Now he's sounding awful with attempting the phony American thing? No good. No good at all. He's also looking a bit hamster-ish with those cheeks.... Looks like he's got a load of sunflower seeds stored in there. Now, Ryan Gosling in The Notebook? Oh lordy, he'd get it. Must have a thing for men with Southern accents and bucket loads of charm... <swoon>

Madam Reverie replied to RJ'S/beginning's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I would simply reply with this... 'If i want to stop losing weight, it will be easy. I will start eating crisco out of the fridge. I shall flavour it up with some chocolate, crispy bacon, maple syrup, use a drum stick of fried chicken as a spoon and start washing it down with some melted ice cream. THAT, is how I will stop the weight loss <internal thought 'you stupid idiot'>' -

Fried food
Madam Reverie replied to Amanda Nicole Hosaflook's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yeah... Fried food.. For me? My old head thinks I want it.. My stomach lurches on entry... I have one-two fries and I'm done. A bite or two of a burger - done. Forget anything else that's fried - particularly chicken/fish. Makes me feel thoroughly dirty inside and that feeling lasts, too. Don't much crave chips either. Doritos are the food of the devil <gag> I'm with RJ about eating realistically. I guess I'm fortunate that I've tried those things and they just don't fit any more. I am very grateful for that. Bring on my grilled goats cheese salad with parma ham and balsamic dressing -

Oh, I would go for a big fat dose of sarcastic 'lol you lot really don't have a lot going on in your lives, do you? If you have this much time to talk about my ever-decreasing backside!... Would you care for a closer look?!'
