Well ladies had my first visit with dr Scarborough at tlc today, and a little excited now. Come to find out uhc does want 6 month weight loss supervised diet but it does not have to be consecutively! Yay! Also they diet with physician can go back 2 years, so I no I have 2 months covered for sure. I no have to do 4 months with dietitian a psych eval and a egd. I'm hoping to have surgery in December so I dnt have to meet my deductible all over again. Dr says we have pretty good chance as long as I do appointment with dietitian this month September October an November we can submit. Getting excited!

MyOptumhealthcomplexmedical.com Im going to my very first visit August 6 (Tuesday) an I'm excited but at the same time a little nervous. I don't want to have to wait another 6 months to do diet program. I no one of u said that they don't have to be consecutively. With my insurance how do I find out if they have to be over a certain period of time or be consecutively? -

How much have u lost so far? Did u have problems scheduling? When I called I spoke to a lady name Shamira an she was a little rude so now im a little uneasy about the facility. I have insurance with uhc but I'm i can only use doctors in network an the doctor I really want to use that did my moms an my friends is out of network????

Yea I assumed I would probably still have to do 6 month program. I to an excited an anxious an dont want to have to wait 6 more months!
-
Yes I also have to do 6 month diet, but I was told that u could use documentation from prior weight loss programs as long as they were done within last 5 years. Idk have any of u heard this? I have tried plants of different programs but none of them were done 6 months consecutively.
