Southeast Missouri. Surgery at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. Surgery was 11/25/13. I have lost a total of 78 lbs from 11/1. I am loving my sleeve but having some blood pressure problems now.

I am 5 days out and head hunger is my only problem at this time. Can't wait for this phase to be over.

The psychologist refused to sign off on me having surgery. I am devastated. I won't be going forward. I love life and wanted to get out of this prison that being fat has it me in. My stress eating and me not wanting to tell my husbands family and my husband having a bigger problem withy weight than me all contributed to his decision. I guess I am stuck in this prison.

Yes I was given the option but that costs money. And my primary physician said he was more concerned about my health than my mental status. -
Wish I knew what to tell you. It is nice to know that I am not the only one not telling the in laws.

I saw the psychologist today. Not good. He recommended that I postpone because I am a stress eater. He said I need to find another coping strategy or he fears failure in the future. I am scheduled for aug 26. I don't really want to postpone. I want to start feeling better. Please any recommendations. -
My date is aug 26. I am so looking forward to leaving this prison behind. My body has become a prison. I want to be free to play, dance and sing.
