I think I will be relocating to the League City area. I already have gone on the internet finding information but would like some feedback from someone who lives or has visited the area. Specifically: Schools Crime Locals History Businesses Proximity to the Bay/Gulf How "nice" is the area? (ie is it more upscale, middle of the road, or downhill?) Any information you can give me is greatly appreciated! and most importantly.... band docs in the area?? accept Mexico patients? Thanks in advance!!!

Thanks everyone. I am just so darn worried. I like the idea of taking up a hobby. My mom does "stamping and card making". I found that very relaxing and therapeutic during my divorce 5 years ago but I think I will try and do that. I also am into the whole "theme room" decorating so I think since I got a new house in July I will try and work that in as well. The food journal thread will be nice too. I already have a comp book dedicated to keeping a log, I hope I keep up with it. I also think that if I spend a lot of time on this site giving my opinions and thoughts it will help. Does anyone have issues with boredum eating? I have heard so much about after the band they are not "hungry" but my issue isn't that I am hungry as much as it is that I eat to be "doing something". Doesn't matter what it is... it goes down. Do you think this will mean I will fail with the band?

I agree with the Jamba juice idea (or even Orange Julius is yummy). But can I recommend a cheaper/more healthy version? 1/2 cup non fat yogurt (or ice milk or low fat ice cream) 4 whole strawberries (or 1/4 banana, or whatever) 2 packets of Splenda 1/4 cup of orange juice (or whatever juice) Ice (about 6-8 cubes will do ya) BLEND WELL and viola! This is the one serving version. Just keep adding/double for need. BTW: Target has a new blender!!! It is a single serving cup on the go! I think it is 19.99 but the cup goes with you and has a lid for the car!!

No no no carbonated liquids. PLUS.... I use Coke to remove the rust from things outside in my garden and cleaning my toilet bowl stains. Do you really want to put that stuff in your stomach? Grab some juice!
