Anyone develop pleurisy post op?
Christina.v replied to anglicanchic85's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I felt the same pain one month out so i went to the er and come To find out my stomach filpped :/ -
I could defiantly have it worse but i had my sleeve placed on the 15th of July and one month later i went to the er with pain on my right side... Afraid it was paincritist or gullbladder (spelling sucks), we found out my endo-oscopy that my new sleeve had flipped and flopped rightside up i had a revision and had my new sleeve stapped and sewed to my muscles in my and around my abdomen walls. Now that this has been done I feel so much worse off than before. I was expecting for the same results and now i just regret my decision altogether wishingi never did this Sorry jist a,little rant :/

Lesson learned!
Christina.v replied to prettychica13's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
That's so funny you posted this because i just had a similar experience. I slow cooked some peaches off my tree and only put my finger in to taste the syrup... Ooh buddy, serves me right i was in the bathroom no more them 5 mins later. Who would known even a taste will get you in to trouble with this sleeve, we will learn. This is all new to us and re-learning how to eat as an adult is very difficult considering all the years put into eating all the wrong foods. -
Thank you!!! Great sub!

Christina.v replied to jessicazares's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have one too! it's pretty annoying & mine hurts the RN at the Dr office told me to bind my stomach. It does help but goes right back to hurting after i take the binder off -
I'm usually a pretty sexual person but after this operation I have no want or need to be sexual at all this is pretty sad for me and for my boyfriend... Do you think this feeling will revert back to the old me soon?! Btw, I was sleeved on the 15th of July

Congrats! I was also scared, but it is a life changing surgery and scared is a perfectly normal emotion at this point. Good luck to you on your journey! The first couple of days are hard but nothing you can't work through! Live, love, laugh!!!!

I'm two Weeks out and the surgeon said i can move on to soft foods. I tried tuna and used fat free mayo and left it a lil bit watery. I threw it all up, how long did it take you all to actually be able to get some solid foods down comfortably? It was even hard for me to eat a bite of a scrambled egg :/
