UPDATE--Surgery scheduled for Sept 24

7/11 info seminar, doctor not covered

7/13 BMI 36 WGT 225

7/24 sleep study, result obst. Sleep apnea

7/25 info webinar, first doctor

8/5 psych eval

8/6 info seminar second doctor

8/7 PCP visit. WGT 222

8/9 first consult, first doctor

8/9 follow up appt. w/ psych

8/13 info session third doctor

8/14 opened case with insurance

8/15 first consult/ second doctor

8/15 consult gastroenterologist

8/21 second sleep study, cpap

8/22 first nut appt

8/22 hospital class

8/22 nut class

8/22 final docs submitted to insurance

8/22 Ins needed 2 year history submitted

8/23 case got sent to Medical Director of Insurance since in the system too long. Said stil needed Sleep Study, Post Op Plan, and H&P

8/26 Called Insurance, docs not received, called Surgeon's office and wanted them to close my case and I would move on to another doctor. Talked out of it. 15 minutes later needed documents were at the insurance.

8/28 Surgeon's office called said I was DENIED.

8/28 Surgeon's office had Peer to Peer call with insurance...Ins wanted two more documents.

8/29 submitted mother's and Husbands support statement

8/29 submitted addendum from Psych about lifetime commitment

8/29 Surgeon's office called said I was Approved!

9/3 Labs and Tests at hospital (EKG, blood work, ultra sound, X-rays)

9/3 meet with Hemotologist

9/3 Met with PA at surgeon's office

9/5 picked up CPAP machine

9/16. Hospital Nurse Interview
