  1. My post op is this Thursday. I can't wait. I hope I will be able to eat more variety then.
  2. I had a drain like that, but they removed it before I left the hospital. The bulb kept getting in my way. I am amazed and impressed you could remove it yourself!
  3. Well, this doesn't seem so bad compared...... But on day 5 post op I ate an entire sleeve of Ritz crackers. After two week pre op liquid diet, I needed some crunch!
  4. I had a drain for a couple of days, but they removed it when I was discharged from the hospital. I am 3 days post op, clear liquids for a week, then a week of full liquids. Today, I was about 1/2 water and 1/2 clear liquid protein. Tomorrow I will try to get more protein in.
  5. 2 more days! And I fell off my pre op diet today. I hope it does not make my surgery and recovery harder. I feel pretty ashamed of myself. Up until today I had kept my calories under 1300, carbs under 100 and had eaten only protein shakes, lean protein and non starchy vegetables. I was overcome today by Cheezits and a cupcake. I am till under 1300 calories, but I am hungrier than I was on the days I stuck to my protein shakes. I used the Unjury shakes today and they don't have as much protein as the others I have been drinking. Should I tell my surgeon?
  6. I am on the 23rd also - I have been waiting so long, I am not too worried - just anxious for it to be over !
  7. That's unflavored protein powder. I have one more week to go!
  8. I can't go anywhere without something to read. Take something just a little bit trashy for fun!
  9. Best wishes and prayers for everyone being sleeved today!
