Just from my research I think you need more Protein. I am still on preop diet by my post op in the maintenance stage says 50-65 grams of protein. I know low protein will cause hair to thin. -

Thanks twinzrule. I also have twins but they are 3. My husband and I both work full time and the girls are at a full time church pre school. So during the week while I am recovering they will be at school. I am glad to hear the pain wasn't near the c section. Thanks again.

I am having my VSG on July 31st. I feel like I have a pretty high pain tolerance level. However I am curious to know what the pain after surgery was like for everyone else? I have had 2 c-sections and wanted to try and compare to that. Thanks!!! 12 days to go...

My date is July 31st and I am so ready. The pre op diet is tough but I think my mind set is, Lets do this! I have a very supportive husband and 3 kids that don't really know what is going on!!! I am so excited, I can hardly wait!!! I am a little nervous of being off work for 13 days then getting thrown back in, in the swing of things!

Thanks! I think I just need other people that know what I am going through to say it's gonna be okay

I have my surgery scheduled for July 31st. I am currently on day 3 of my 2 week liquid pre op diet. I am taking in 100 ounces of water, 4 protein shakes a day and about 3 sugar free jellos. I don't like broth so that is out of the question. Any other ideas for something I can have? I am in countdown mode but so hungry, will this feeling ever go away? Hungry in Houston!!!!
