I just started soft foods... scrambled eggs, cottage cheese, yogurt. Or anything blended. I can only get 2-3 tablespoons down of these. And I'm still on my shakes for Protein. No.carbs but I don't miss them much.

I am 2 1/2 weeks post op. (Surgery 7/11) For the first few days I had a very difficult time getting in all my liquids and protein. But since then ,I am getting them down without a problem at all! I can easily drink 3 protein shakes a day and actually all liquids go right down, including creamed soups or broths. Anything that "pours" goes right down and I actually was able to "drink" a whole cup of cream of chicken soup. No Pain, No nausea. I was full and then stopped. Is this too much??? I am so worried about stretching anything out! ( I did start on the blended/soft foods this past weekend and those are rough. I can only handle a few bites and have to stop.)

I was sleeved on 7/11 and since the 5th day post-op I havent had a problem getting my shakes down. Also, just started yesterday on my soft/pureed foods and seem to be able to eat more than I thought. I made eggs last night and ate about 1/2 cup. Today I had cottage cheese and was almost able to finish one of those small single servings. I don't get sick, I just feel full and stop. I am worried that it's too much???? I thought it would be harder than this. Should I be concerned???

When are you getting sleeved?
TawnyKnockHer replied to Canary Diamond's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I was sleeved on 7/11 by Dr. Braverman & Dr. Quebberman in Orange, California. The first couple of days were rought but I was up and about very quickly- physically I have felt great! I even went back to work 1 week post op. My sister had the sleeve in September 2012 and our recoveries have been sooo different! So happy to have this place to share and support! -

Need sleeve buddies!
TawnyKnockHer replied to CatherineJo's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm a 7/11 sleeve. I am 1 week post op today. My sister had this done in September and looks fabulous. I am finding that nothing at all has been the similar for us! I know it's really early but am only down 18 lbs (12 from preoperative diet). Trying to not get frustrated.
