Laura, I've never tried Yoga..but I'm sure it will be great! Ice Cream is my favorite food so I understand your agony! Have you ever heard of Braums. They have the best IceCream. I am going to go over there and try they're Fat Free, Sugar Free Frozen Yogert. I heard it is very good. A cup a night won't hurt a thing. We just need to be in moderation. Sounds like you do need a fill if you havn't lost in two months. I don't ever really get hungry..it's just head hunger for me when I do. I can go all day without eating if I want. I am at the point where I think I may be at my sweet spot. Keep hanging in there, don't be too hard on yourself. How many cc's do you have in your what sized band? Blessings, Weazer

Sandra, Thanks for the encouragement. I feel really good! I hope to loose these 8 pds this month and am going to give it my best. 180 is my goal for Jan 1rst. I know I can do it if I don't eat icecream! It's my favorite! Yesterday I made a batch of soup, and three casserol's. I divied them up into single serving bowls and froze them so that I will have good food to eat for a couple of weeks. I do really good on casserols because they are soft and juicy and cheesy! Wenjea, I know what you mean about the sweets....but, the longer you stay off of them...the easier it gets. I have a mentaly handicapped 40 something brother...he always has pockets of sweet stuff and he gives it to anyone he meets that day. He won't take no for an answer. He gave me about three of the chocolate bells that are wrapped in foil. I took a nibble and it tasted awful. I am getting picky about the sweet stuff too. I broke down and bought my daughter a big thick milk chocolate bar...and had her break me off two squares...took the tiniest bite (it was good) and stuck it in the fridge..later that night my friend came by to help me eat some casserol. I broke my chocolate in half with her for our dessert! We can do this. One day at a time. Blessings all my Amayzing Bandsters! Weazer

Sometimes it would take my fills two weeks to get the restriction. That is strange that it felt cold though. But, I can't imagine them missing. It would be really hard to do. You have done so good with your wght loss. you are so close to goal. I just know you are going to be the first one to get there. Maybe they will give you another fill in three weeks or so. My doc did that when I told him I didn't have enough restriction. Blessings, Weazer

Yeah Ragdoll! Oh happy day! Well, I did my monthly wgh in and I was only at 188. I shouldn't complain...I'll take it...but darn, I felt like I had lost 10 pds. Oh, well, it feels good to be in the 180's. Now for my next goal..the 170's! It may take a couple of months..but that's o.k. I feel so good! Blessings all you Amazing Bandsters! Weazer

Victoriana, Wow, two years banded. Wish you had more time to chat with us as you have so much experience with the band. But, family comes first...I understand totally. This is a great place to fellowship with other believers. Blessings, and Merry Christmas to you and your family! Weazer

Oh and Sue, thanks for the blessings about the wedding! Weazer

Sue, I have been eating about a cup cup and a half too. But, if I am honest...I don't ever really feel hungry. I just know it's time to eat. The taste and texture of the food is good that is why I keep eating. I can't remember the last time I had a hunger pain. What about y'all? Blessings, Weazer

Sandra, Everybody is different. Like I've said before. My daughter has the 9cc band and lost wght with one small fill. I am one of the hard ones that needed lots of fill. Don't worry you have still lost a good amount of weight. I bet you look fantastic. I am just enjoying being at the wght I am at. Blessings,

Sue, I honestly don't know him at all. Just had one talk with him. He is stepping up to the plate and I am happy about that. They both seem happy so this is a good thing! Now, how the heck do I throw a wedding for Jan 19th. This should be interesting. Well, about my band...it was so tight for a couple of weeks that I could barely eat! It is finally starting to loosen up. I was so hungry that last night I was able to eat 2 bowls of corn flakes. I am eating tiny bites and eating really slow. I love the slow part. I am having people comment on my wght loss every day now. I think I am in the low 180's but won't wght until the first. That means I have to wght till next Sat and I don't have a scale at home. I will just wght here on Friday. I am feeling so good and looking so much better that I feel like I can stop trying to rush the wght loss now. I am going to let it fall off without stressing now. Blessings all! Weazer

Welcome Sleepy and tell your sister too! Hello everybody! You guys make my heart so happy each time I come to this site. I wish I could get the whole group of you in a room together....what an awsome group that would be! Geneva. I know what you mean about making the mountain of food and not being able to eat it...or not being tied to it. Isn't it great. I made a nice plate of food, alittle of everything...went and sat down to eat and was the last one finished. I was shocked at how fast everyone else ate! My goodness, I used to do that too. I just savored everybite...it is so much better. That is one of the things that I'm thankful for. Learning how to slow down! I still haven't weighed in. Last time I wghd on Nov 1 I was 192. I have a feeling I will be in the low 180's on Dec. 1rst. I have been doing really good..and am wearing most of my smallest cloths.... Blessing all! Weazer

Dear Allure! You just had me giggling all over the place with your post. I so relate to the resturant episode! The first thing I do when I go out and eat is scope out the John's looking for the fastest route to them! Congrads on your restriction. Looks like you started out at 255 and your almost into onederland. That's wonderful. Girl, that's 47 pds! You are doing as good as any of us. Be proud! Congrads on your upcoming wedding. Also, I think I can speak for most of us here. We need to be able to share our feelings good and bad while going through this process. Don't ever worry about bringing us down or unmotivating us. I'm thankful that God blessed me with two beautiful daughters. I am thankful that my Mother is healthy and lives right around the corner. I am thankful for the roof over my head and the food in my cupboards. I am thankful for my car. I am thankful for my job. I am blessed beyond belief! Most of all I thank God for choosing me to be one of his saints! I don't know why he picked me...but I love him for it! Blessings, Weazer

Geneva, I have a 13 yr old that I worry about. I know she's a beliver in God and beleives that Jesus died for our sins...but l'm not sure that she is saved yet. All we can do is keep praying for them...really really really hard! Aloco53 (LOL) Welcome, soon you'll be a bandit too! This is one of the very best things I have ever done for myself. I believe that this surgery was a blessing from God for me. I am off my blood pressure meds...my skin looks ten years younger...I don't get winded easily. It's been a great experience. I know it will be for you too! Hollyberries (Cindy) Welcome, so glad you found us. I'm with ya on the peace thing. When ever I have a big decission to make...I hash it out with God and until I get that peaceful feeling I don't act upon it. That doesn't mean we won't continue to worry a bit...change can be a bit scary...but we can put our trust in the Lord. I have a feeling your going to be an inspiration to us all. Blessings my new friends! Weazer

Wenjea - It is obvious that you don't take your blessings for granted and are grateful for what God has blessed you with. Listen, I would give my eye teeth to have been able to be a stay at home Mom. I know that it is the best job in the whole wide world. I got to do it for four years with my youngest daughter and they were the best years of my life. Course those are the years that I put on most of the excess wght. I cooked three squares a day and could whip up a sheet cake in 15 minutes. My family loved it. Every drawer and cabinet was clean and organized...you should see it now. If you open a cupboard you better hold your hands in front of your face because something is certain to tumble out the minute you open the door. But, I've managed both working and being a Mom now that I'm doing it alone. At least God gave me those four beautiful years at home to remember. Well, I know youv'e got your hands full Wenjea, so you have a beautiful weekend..I know you must have to cook a huge Thanksgiving Dinner...goodness. Great to hear how you appreciate your husband! Blessings, Weazer

Babygotback - God bless you too! Geneva - I didn't get saved till I was 43! I wish it happend sooner too but he wanted us to go through what we did so that we could learn and be able to identify with others that are just like we were. Boy, have I got allot to teach! How wonderful that you brought your hubby and kids to faith. That must be the highlight of your life! I think both of my girls are saved but, sometimes you can't tell the difference between having a intellectual knowledge of God and being a true believer of God. God was known to me all my life, I loved him and believed in Him with all my heart, but, I didn't trust Him enough to give him my sins and follow Him. Now, I trust Him with all my heart. I am redeemed! He washed me clean. I new it the minute it happened. It can't be denied if your lucky enough to feel the Holy Spirit wash over your heart! Blessings, Weazer

Wenjea - I just noticed you have six kids! You are blessed beyond belief! I always wanted a bunch of kids! Family is the best thing I have! It is going to be so much fun going through this process with you (grandbaby). Happy Happy Joy Joy! Weazer
