    O.K. Jilian...oops I mean Sandra! I'm happy to report that I was lying in the bed...trying to come up with a way to get out of doing my sit ups...I'm too cold...or even lie and say I did them...but, alas, I am too darn honest. So I thought with all the effort I am putting in to get out of this I may as well give it a try. Well, I tentively started my sit ups and was plesantly suprised to find that it wasn't the torture that I expected it to be. I did just what you said and did 20..waited till the next commercial and did 20 more. Wow! I even decided that I will bring my wghts in and tonight I will add the wghts to the sit ups. So thanks for the motivation...now today I will drink lots of water...after I finish my coffee! I am blessed that I don't have any skin that needs to be removed..but I am going to have three surgerys this year. I have a deviated septom that needs to be repaired. I want to have breast reduction. I had my breast reduced in 1990 but I insisted he keep them large. I really want them to be alittle smaller. Expecially on the sides. I don't think he took enough off there. Also, I will be having my second Bladder reconstruction. I had it done in 2003 but the surg didn't do a great job. I have to be careful when I cough or sneeze suddenly and I am tired of it. I am sure that my wght had something to do with the downfall of my bladder, and the two pregnancy's. Isn't it fortunate that we live in this day and age that we can have these issues fixed.     Cool, So good to hear the happiness in your voice again. The Beans Delux sound great. What kind of beans? What kind of turkey? Is it the lunch meat kind. What kind of cheese and bbq sauce? I'm willing to try it. Also, I just eyeball my serving size so I'm not sure if it is a cup or not...but I usually get about a cup of soup for lunch and maybe a side of soybeans..I love them cold off the salad bar. (I would never have eaten or loved soy beans before the band). sometimes I can eat around a two cup serving if I am not careful. I may have to go in for a 6th fill to put me at 3.5 in a 4cc band. I think I am one of the tough ones who needs almost total restriction! Weazer

    40 sit ups!!! What! O.k. I'll try and do the 25...I used to do 25 a day and withing 3 months I had rock hard abs..so I know the twenty five will be effective. I can't promise to keep it up but I honestly will try. I do have wghts at home and your right, I need to get motivated and use them...o.k...thanks for cracking the whip...I need to not settle for just looking good, I need to be fit. Thanks for the encoragement. I'll do those sit up tonight! I swear..25 is just as good as 40 for me. Weazy (notice I didn't say blessings..Boy am I pmsing or what!

    o.k..I guess I am way undermotivated! To make myself do 25 sit ups a day would be a big deal for me. But, I guess that I am just feeling so good that I am not in a big rush to get the wght off anymore. I can't believe it took six months to reach my first goal of 185. Now that I am here...I am just slowing down and letting it happen as it happens. I do need to eat more healthy though...that is one of the hard ones for me too since the bad foods seem to go down so much easier.The big thing for me is that water. Like Metalband said...the wrinkles are starting to show. I am not sure if it's from old age and loose skin...or from not drinking enough water. Well, I can't do anything about the old age...but, I can handle the water part. Gonna go get some right now! Heck i may evan burn off a couple of calories going to get it! Sandra, I wish I had your energy! When I lay my hind end down to watch TV...no way am I multi tasking (unless it's to take a sip of my tea). Boy, am I pathetic or what...but I sure do enjoy myself!     Hello everybody and thanks for you kind words. Twinmommy, it's just like someone said. We are over six months out and the old habits are starting to creep back in. Like I said, I am eating stuff I wouldn't have eaten several months ago. I had a Ghirardelli chocolate just a minute ago! I can't wait for them to quit bringing in all the goodies! I wghd in a day early for my monthly wghing. I figured I wouldn't be any less tomorrow. Well, I lost 3 pds in December. It's not much and I am only down to 185 but, hey, I didn't gain! It may be Feb or March before I get into the 170's. I am seeming to loose only about 4 pds a month. I could loose more if I'd get off the junk food. But, good news is that I'll never again gorge on it like the old days! Sandra, I am so happy that you got your fill. It will start things moving in the downward direction for you. Just be sure and don't rush things, it will happen, just not immediatly. At the rate of 4 pds a month...I won't reach goal by May. I will probably be at 168...Well, I wanted to be at 145...but at 4lbs a month, it will be October before I reach goal. That is only 1 and close to half a yr after the surgery. I can't ask for more than that. I feel blessed. Counting my blessings, Weazer

    Morning all! I got into a shirt that I have never been able to wear. Fits perfect! yippi! Cindy! - Happy New Year! I'm back on track with my eating after too much over Christmas...what about you. Not exercising but am drinking the water thanks to the promptings by Sandra! Sue11 - See there! 9 pds! Hey small goals are o.k. Just as long as we loose each month and not gain! Sandra - The good thing is that you are not gaining back your original wght - see what a blessing this band is. You really got knocked back to peg one. But, your wght didn't go back there...so chin up...by May, I'll bet your at goal! Melissa - I am sorry about the meltdown's, been there. I am praying for you to start feeling better. Your picture with your daughter is adorable! Manatee - have fun on your vacation. You seem to have a great exercise ethic. Yup..goal in 08! Yoohoo! Metalband - You didn't get on the scale did you! Can you believe that you are only 19lbs above your desired wght! how crazy great it that! Sue11, you made my day with your Frosty cartoon! You have a great sense of humor! Now, how did everyone do over christmas? I admit it right here and now that I suck. I ate entirly too much! I ate so much that at 10pm last night I had to force myself not to go back to the kithchen for more! Felt like the old days. But, I didn't and I am determined to get back on track today. I ate a very light breakfast (yogurt) and am going to have a pretty light lunch...leftovers. If I touch a sweet I swear I will somehow send myself to my room! I will be soooo grounded!     Dear Leg, How great! A nice trip to Texas and knowing that you'll be getting compliments in advance! Good for you! I am at work today..came in at 3:30am if you can believe it. I couldn't sleep so I thought, why not come early. That way I'll leave early and still get some time in. Since I last posted I had one really bad day of eating...but yesterday I made sure and get rid of any sweets in the house and I ate very healthy. I feel much better. I only have a week to wgh in so I hope to have lost 4 pds...182...here I come (I hope). Merry Christmas! Weazer

    Oh my goodness...I am making up for lost time. i just had another NSV! I don't usually brag like this and I wouldn't do it with any other group of people...but I will with you guys since we are going through this together.. One of the men from Radiology (He's happily married) just walked up to me and youv'e lost allot of wght havn't you? Then he said...you look good enough to sop up with some gravy!!!!!!!!!!!!!     Melissa - I love you haircut! I am tempted to get it myself! Sandra - keep reminding us to drink our water..everytime I see your post I take a sip! Manatee - Did I tell you congrads on getting into the 180's. I am so happy for you! Ragdoll - Your numbers are looking really good. Keep up the good work! Laura P - I agree on the six month thing. I am not being near as careful about what I put in my mouth. A cookie here, a candy there...a brownie here...six months ago I was much more careful...yet, I am still not eating near what I used to and think I may have lost at least a few pds this month. Can't wait to wgh in on Jan 1 ! If I havn't lost...it's because of the stay junk food that I'm picking at and will cut it out if that turns out to be the case! Rachel B - So glad you came back..we can't afford to loose any of the Maybandsters...I intend to keep coming back for years and checking in...Also, you have lost 58 lbs! I am so encouraged by your numbers. I am at 3.25 cc's and yes it's tight..I sometimes pb water when I sip it too fast..but I love my band just where it's at. Well, y'all have a wonderful Christmas.     Hello all, I have been absent for a few days as I have been sick! Still am...have the crud! I just wanted to say hello to everybody. I am too busy here at work to read back and see who all has been posting but, I am just glad you all are here. I hope this blog goes on forever. I always worry that people will drop out and once we all loose our wght..that we won't need each other anymore. I know I will. NSV!!!! I had to go to Target yesterday to buy a presant for my daughter and I passed these cute Trouser Jeans on the rack in the junior dept. Well, I have been wanting a pair because they are the nice dark ones that look like slack that you can wear on Casual Fridays at some work places. Well, I really didn't have the xtra money at this time but I wanted to try them on anyway to see how they looked. I grabbed the 14's and went in and tryed them on. Too big! I had the sales lady go get me the next lowest size...a 12! They fit perfect! Let me tell you, it took all of my will power not to buy them just because they had a 12 tag in them. I figured that I could buy them after Christmas if they are still there. I am on cloud nine...a size 12! I am sure it was just the brand but...a size 12! Happy Happy Joy Joy.. I was this close to not coming in today...but my guilt overroad my need to ly in the bed. Hope your feeling better. Hi Cindy! Merry Christmas! I love not gaining wght this time of year. To actually feel pretty is sooo nice! We do have to drink our water though..I am lacking in that area too. My skin is drying out because of the inside heat...so I need to up my water.     Oh my gosh! Everybody must be as busy as I am! I just had to check in and see how everyone is doing. I am just a tad under the weather. My head hurts...along with several other symtoms..that I won't mention. Maybe this will be the worst of it and I can get ready for my train trip to Okla City on Friday. Hope your all doing well. I won't know till I wgh in on Dec 1rst. But like I said...I am not pushing myself anymore, just taking the wght loss slow and easy. I am eating allot less. I always try and leave a good portion on my plate that I don't eat. cutting out in many ways. My restriction seems to have eased up just a bit..which I like. I can eat my cup to cup and a half at a sitting with mostly no problems. Sometimes I have to fix a cup of hot tea before a meal to loosen the band up before I can eat. Just feeling really good.     Laura, Honestly, I don't keep track of carbs or calories anymore. After years of dieting I can pretty much judge when I am getting to the 1000 calorie mark. I admit, I am eating many more carbs than protein. Sometimes meat seems to roll around in my small stomach and I end up pbing it. I think just that I am eating such smaller portions and not eating 3/4's of the sweets that I used to eat is why I am loosing wght. Since I am down in the 180's I hope to not worry so much about the number anymore and just live and enjoy my new healthy feeling! Course I will jump for joy everytime I get in a new wght catagory.     Laura, I could still eat pretty good when I was at 3cc and under. It changed everything when I bumped it up to 3.25 You will find you sweet spot. Yummy in Tenn, they have those wonderful Crystal burgers! The actually just opened one here and now I can't eat them! Be encouraged...you have lost a great amount of wght. 51 pds..wow how great..I have lost 46...wow too. I want to loose 46 more pds to get to 142...but I'll take anything below 150 and be jumping for joy! You take care. Blessings, Weazer
