For those of you who have been following my thread you know my journey for approval has been nothing less than a rollercoaster ride. Less than ten minutes ago I received my call of approval. Now I can exhale...
I think I remember you having BCBS of AL; is that correct? How long did it take to get your approval after your paperwork was submitted? My paperwork was submitted yesterday.
Thanks,
Dana

It took 53 days for my insurance company to approve me but thank goodness they did... My surgery is scheduled for Feb 6th. Now I feel like part of the bunch! Whoo hoo!!!!
So excited now.
Any idea why it took so long? What insurance do you have?

I have blue cross and it literally took one week to get approval!
I have BCBS of AL and my paperwork should get submitted this week. I finished my 6 month diet yesterday. I hope my approval only takes a week.

Haven't received my date yet. I'm pretty sure it will be in February or maybe early March. Been in the process since early July.

My wife and children are worried as well. It seems to help that I'm confident in what I'm doing and letting them know that everything is going to be fine.

I'll be submitting to BCBS of Alabama in mid January. Let us know how long it takes you to get approval.

Hey guys. I finished my 6 month diet on 1-13-14 and my paperwork was submitted to insurance on 1-15-14. I hope I can get a February surgery date. I'm ready to get this party started. I'll post my exact surgery date on here when I know it.
