Good Morning loves! So I hit my 1 year surgiversary 04/04/14. It's been one heck of a year but whoah have I grown. I feel like a new person. Not just physically but emotionally and mentally. I am more confident. More independent. More comfortable in my skin. All in all the best decision I've ever made. May we all continue to a healthier happier version of ourselves. I've attached a few shots from my modeling shoot I recently did. I'm a 33 year old mother of one. I have lost over 90 pounds. I'm not perfect but I am ME flaws and all.
You are definitely sassy, sexy and fit.

Minor loose skin wouldn't bother me but lots of loose skin would definitely be a turn off.
Fellas, please advise: Does a woman's loose skin distract, annoy, or repulse you in intimate times; or are you so focused on 'other stuff', it really doesn't matter?I've lost ~55 pounds and still want to lost another 30-40 pounds. I do see some loose skin, though it's not bad at this point. It's not a current matter for me--the "what is he thinking (because I need to find me a new 'he'")--but I'm thinking to maybe see an old friend who's been begging me for years. LOL. (and we do have a 22-year crush/attraction to each other). And, dating ladies, post-op WLS...what's been your experience with this?Granted, those I ask who are here on BP understand, but give your best thoughts on this matter. I don't think I need to really worry about it, but jsut curious if this is a turn-off (especially if the guy doesn't know of the WLS).Thanks to all respondents. -
I lost 19 pounds in two weeks. Don't worry, that is exactly what is supposed to happen.

Hasn't made a difference for me.

I'm 5 1/2 weeks out and I still experience hunger just as much as I did pre-op. Very frustrating.

I'm 5 1/2 weeks out and I usually eat about a cup.

Your sleeve is swelled right now. As soon as it settles down, you'll figure out how to tell when your full.

Definitely be honest. The insurance company just wants to see that you've made efforts in the past and have failed.
-
Don't worry, you will be fine. I haven't had any trouble at all and would do it again 1,000 times over.

I was sleeved on 3-6-14 and am about 5 weeks out. I have heard a lot of people talk about not experiencing hunger anymore or they at least have very little hunger. I didn't get so lucky and I'm curious if anyone else still has full blown hunger? Let me know your experience please.

I am 5 weeks post op and I gained 4 pounds overnight two nights ago. I did eat a lot the day before though. For some reason I was just really hungry. Oh well, I've already lost 1 pound of the 4 pound gain. I should get the rest off in the next day or two.

5 weeks post op (3-6-14). Down 28 lbs and my BMI is 32.74.

When my diet restrictions were fully lifted.

I've had the same problem. It helps me to wait 1 1/2 minutes between each bite.
I'm two months post op and not having trouble work foods. Just trouble telling when I'm full. I start with tiny amounts on my plate and don't feel full. Then I'll take another bite and wham it hurts and I've ended up throwing up twice in the past two days. What can happen if anything if you throw up too much? I'm worried I'm hurting my new sleeve.

hi everyone!!
well preop starts tomorrow!! im buying my powder first thing but i was wondering which tastes best im sure they are all unpleasant but which of the chocolate or vanilla is better!! please help!! my brain is so fried from trying to plan everything. reaching out for people's opinions!
thanks a bunch!!
I personally really like the Bariatric Advantage shake mix. I usually do chocolate hot or cold and sometimes I do one scoop of chocolate and one scoop Orange cream. Yum... sometimes I add a scoop or two of PB2. Yum yum... taste is a difficult thing to get opinions about because everyone is different.
If either of you ladies want my Bariatric Advantage shakes, I'd sell you two big bags for $50 plus shipping. Each bag is open and I've used about 5% out of each bag. There is chocolate and vanilla. I paid $100 for both. Let me know.

Been walking for 30 minutes since two days post-op. In the past week, I started jogging a little over a mile around my neighborhood which contains many hills. I feel great and plan of stepping it up next week. Surgery was on 3-6-14 and I've lost 26 pounds so far. Yay me!!!

I am one month out and I am half way to goal. So excited. My goal is to lose 102 lbs and I've lost 51 since my high weight of 317. My goal is 215 lbs. Yippee.

I have been floating on air all day. The coordinator called last week to say my insurance approval was in and that she sent my packet to the surgeons office. The surgeons office called yesterday to make my appointment and I was able to get in this morning. They called this afternoon with my April 9th date!!! Woooooo hooooo!
Good luck today. You'll do great. It's a breeze.
What was your Infamous Week 3 Stall experience?

I just broke a stall this morning. I'm currently just shy of 7 weeks out and the stall lasted 2 weeks. It was very frustrating and I'm so glad it's over.
