I know I am doing this for my health, but I am DDDYYYIIINNNGGGGG to put on a pair of sexy jeans and a leather jacket back on.... Anyway, had my first fill at TLBC. Went very well. Got 5 cc. Feel the restriction. Have gotten stuck twice though. Will go for second fill on the 15th. Cant imagine getting more restriction ??? Yesterday, had a bowl of Cereal for breaky. Had two crackers with tuna and a third of a banana and was good. But I decided I would stupidly take a bite of the kids' pogo (JUST ONE BITE ) ???? Yeah, it got stuck. It was ok. At least I didnt puke. And last nite was at hosp. all nite and didnt feel any hunger. So all I had was the tuna and that was it....Thank God I can still eat some bread - toast, and guzzle my Water. We're not having a Thanksgiving dinner, (my mom is real sick), so that solves that problem. Dont know if we can meet yet for coffees, but glad we can get together for lunch.....Let me know how u r doing? By the way, can you get that doctors number for me from your aunt..???? Take it easy... Haizel, got to TLBC at 12:45, probably you were way gone by then. There were only 4 of us being filled today. All of us did well , with the 5 cc. I was VERY DELIGHTED as I stepped on their scale , (much lighter than mine) ! I had not gained at all ! How crazy is that! I am sure that is does not help that I am weighing myself each hour of the day LOLLOL! I have had a full Soup for dinner and am still ok. I am sorry you had the sliming, but you may lose quicker now... My port had flipped, but she found it first shot.... I will pray for us for a successful journey and May God give us the strength to face each day.... Rose

Haizel - sadly enough, this morn. when I got on my scale, I have regained 4 pounds !!! OMG !!!!This damn restriction thing better work. I know I am an emotional eater and right now the doctors have given my sick mother about six weeks to live and I am going CRAZY !!!!!! Not to mention the $16 K we have spent !!!!! Anyway... when did you get banded and how much have you lost -( sorry, it is hard to remember peoples' band date) ? I was banded Aug. 17. As of my preop Aug. 4th, I had lost 22 pounds... now? I dont know...when I stepped on the TLBC's scale, it was much lower than mine at home...good!!!! Rose.................We have got to hang in there, for our lives !:hail:

Hi Patricia - I was banded Aug. 17. I had lost 22 pounds, now gained back 2 (no restriction) !!!! One more week until my fill - cant wait. Hope to start losing. Real worried about this sliming business about drinking water at the fill. Markham - cool ! Whereabouts? Good luck tomorrow! I know about the luncheon in Oct., but too far for me to drive... dont know, unless I can get a ride.. ??? Talk to you later....

Mandi, you look so awesome !! Getting to the 150's must be such an incredible feeling - I am hoping to get down there too! Hope you relocate closer to us so we can meet u at the lunches! I am at week 5 and will go for my fill next week. I have not lost weight in two and half weeks :cry . Is this normal? Am I just freaking out too early? Will I lose weight the week of my first fill? I know, I know, just a little nervous, but would like to hear opinions. :help: I am happy with my 20 pound weight loss, but would like it to keep going.... Rose

Oh ! Sounds like everyone had such a nice time !!! I was so sad to miss it! My father finally went home today. He had cataract surgery on Thurs., but ended up staying here because he is 82 and needed help. Guys, I cant believe this. My dad had some eye surgery on Thurs. and is now spending the weekend with me. So, I cannot make the luncheon. Damn ! I will hopefully try for the next one! Have a great time everyone!
