I have had five lumbar surgeries, the last one 2010 with a two level lumbar fusion. I had lost 20 lbs prior to surgery (HGC) of course I gained it plus back! I wish you all the best!

I am APPROVED!!!! I am just waiting to talk to my supervisors and then I can schedule for the 26th!!!!!

Well all my paperwork has been turned over to the insurance company! Excited and nervous!

I have not received a surgery date yet. I need to see the cardio doctor to get clearance, then I guess it will go to insurance. I was hoping it would be the end of August but life happened so now I wait!

I'm waiting too and have the same fears! Keep the faith!!

Well I have almost completed all my pre insurance appointment! Most important, I am not crazy! Well not to crazy. My heart is good, upper GI is well, okay! I will find out Monday how well I breath, no looking forward to that. Being a smoker for 36 years, I know it won't be great. So with all that behind me, I guess it will just be a waiting game. My insurance is UnitedHealthCare, and I am so nervous about getting denied. Does everyone get denied once?
