I have hit a bit of a stall and hope it breaks SOON! I am down over 100# and feel great! For Breakfast I have a greek yogurt and my lunch normally consists of some lean meat and fruits/veggies. I try to mix it up for dinner. My hardest time is in the evening when I REALLY want to snack on something crunchy and salty, which is usually a carb-snack. Some days are easier than others. At times, I look at how far I have come and think I could be content with my current weight loss. Then, I come to my senses and realize that I still have a long journey ahead of me...but I will succeed. As a busy person, who is used to taking care of everyone else, I need to constantly remind myself that it is okay to step back and make sure that "I" and taking care of "ME". Wishing you all continued success!

213 this week I came to the realization that "I" need to get myself back on track! I have been a little lax about not getting enough Water and Protein and I am sneaking in carb-snacks. So...it is back to the grindstone to see what I can do to determine my results for next week. I already put in 10 miles today, met my protein goal and exceeded my water goal...off to a great start!

I have been camping at our county fair all week and didn't make to a scale to weigh in...darn it! I will report next week. I have been getting plenty of exercise, but tried a few fair foods, as well. Sure hope I didn't overdo the food and underdo the exercise! Have a great week, everyone!!

212 this week. Down one.

Ready to rock this! Current: 213 Goal by 7/4: 207

Well....I gained .5 this week and ended at 214 I threw a little caution to the wind and didn't get my protein and water in like I should. It was a slow month for me, but I will get there next time! On to the next challenge!

Down 1.5 pounds this week to 213.5 I still have 2.5 to hit my goal for this challenge. It is not totally impossible, but I will have to work VERY HARD for it! Time to buckle down, drink lots of water and get plenty of excercise. Here's to a good week for everyone!

Stayed the same this week...215. I had a few too many special treats, but I will be back on track this week!

Down 2 pounds this week....215! On another note, my son graduated from college this weekend and the ceremony had over 50,000 in attendance. It was great to be able to take the stairs with ease and not be out of breath making the trek to the upper deck! We had a picnic afterwards and I was even able to make good food choices and not over-induldge! Happy, happy!

Still 217 this week:(

Count me in! I am up a little from yesterday, but today's weight is 217. I am thinking I will shoot for a goal of 211 this time. Thanks so much for keeping track of all of this and keeping us motivated, Bea! You rock!!

Final weight for the challenge..216.5. After a few very slow months, I was excited to have a good challenge! Happy Easter to everyone!

Super-stoked this week! I didn't gain after being sick for 2 weeks. I actually lost 2.5 pounds and am now at 218.5. That puts me sooooo very close to a 100# loss. I am giddy with excitement that I could be at 100# by next week!

It's too late, but did I make the right decision?

.I wasn't insinuating that anyone stop using MFP...I still use it and LOVE it. It just tells me little white lies at times when it says that I will be a specific weight in 5 weeks if I keep it up....hehe! There are many parts of this journey that really make us wonder about our choice!!! hair loss and working so hard for what seems to be NOTHING really stink. Just keep reminding yourself it is the ultimate goal that will make it all worthwhile. I was convinced that I would be some "poster-child" for WLS...wrong. Everything started off great....20 pounds lost pre-op and 50 more pounds lost in 3 months post-op. Then.....everything changed. At first, my weight loss just slowed down and then halted. I was doing everything right. I was using MFP (which was apparantly lieing to me, because I was not losing what I was told), doing over 60 minutes of cardio a day, eating right, taking my vitamins!!! It look me nearly 3 months to lose another 10 pounds...crazy! I just recently started to have some steady weight loss again, so there is some hope. My hair loss has halted. Try to concentrate on your ultimate goal, stay positive and remember why you did this in the first place. Best of luck to you!! LOL! I thought I was the only one who was going to be a poster child for WLS! I'm using MFP too - should I stop? -

I am closing in on the 100# mark as well, but still have a ways to go...currently at 221. The weight loss has REALLY slowed down, but it is still happening. I have been pretty sick with a fever for the last week and have no appetite at all. It just feels like I can't fit anything in that sleeve. Not sure if this is normal. I can barely get in a little protein and a string cheese, but that is better than junk. I am loving the sleeve and still kicking myself for not doing it 10 years ago when I first looked into it! I am glad I came to my senses. Hope everyone else is enjoying the journey!

2/17=233 2/24=229 3/3=228 Another pound down I actually met my goal already, so I will see if I can get down to 225 by the 17th...... As far as log in days...I don't care what day we report!

F-I-N-A-L-L-Y out of the 230's after being there for months! I hit 229 this week!!!! I lost 4 pounds in the last 6 weeks and BOOM-lost 4 this week I was thinking that I would never see that scale move again. All of my calculated eating and exercise DID pay off. Now...to brace my self and stay on track this week to keep the scale moving!
