I amuse myself. Just 'cause you have sparkly lips does NOT make you Lord Queen Boofoo of the manor. -
I will have to look up this toradol!!

My friend had her sleeve done a week ago. She has recommended a few things to me. She recommended a scopalamine patch behind my ear for nausea? She had morphine as well but morphine doesn't work well for me and my surgeon prefers Dilaudid. She mentioned liquid Lortab for home but my surgeon sends liquid Oxy, not sure the difference? And something called Phenergan, also for nausea? I always have Zofran on hand (liquid gold to chemo patients), ever since my chemo treatments and now with my hernia.

I prefer to pick my nose first, because then I don't taste the yuckiness of my butt picking when I eat my boogers. -

I like to think that my nose picking escapades helped in the derailment! -

I like you Cheri -
Morphine doesn't work well with me. My surgeon uses Dilauded, which I prefer. Apparently they send me home with liquid oxy?

I really have no idea what this thread is about and why everyone is getting so bent out of shape...but here's my two cents....mean people suck. Be nice. Is it really worth getting so worked up over a post from a total stranger on the internet? Nah. Life's too short. And sometimes I do like people. -

Have you had anyone accuse you of being vain or taking the easy way out?

What did you eat and/or drink while still in the hospital?
MindiJean posted a topic in Post-op Diets and Questions
I am wondering what you were able to keep down while still in the hospital? From what I'm reading, I will be given pureed foods before discharge? -

I've been perusing YouTube, trying to find an old "Hee Haw" video with Roy Clark and Buck Owens singing "I'm a pickin' and I'm a grinnin'" Not having any luck. And just showed my age. -

At the risk of being accused of starting the silly "let's just change the subject with meaningless rhetoric" tactic....sometimes I pick my toes too. When I can reach them. -
Anyone try Aloe Vera juice?
MindiJean replied to Kindle's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I used aloe vera juice on my scalp during chemo. I'm not sure if it helped with hair loss (I lost more than half my hair) but it soothed my scalp and supposedly made for a more hospitable environment for regrowth. -

Lorazepam and Valium have been my true-blues throughout this whole cancer process. Oncologist suggested it, got it in IV form after surgery, urologist prescribed through recovery. I've learned not to be a hero and take whatever is offered to help. MRI's are scary. The waiting for results is even scarier to me. -

Are you serious? How far out are you? What treatment did you have? I just had my 2.5 year scans last week, along with all my sleeve pre-testing. All clear! -

I clearly have NOT BEEN POSTING HERE for over a month. And I quoted the whole post. I tend to do that when I want to accurately reply. I have chemo brain and forget very easily, and so quoting helps me remember. I repeat, absolutely no mocking. And I think you may be the only one who was reading it that way? -
