I'm ten days post op yesterday I had a appointment so I caught the bus up but decided to walk home the two locations are right next to each other one medium size city the other small my mom came with me just in case it was about a 33min walk I didn't make home by walking as planned I walked until I fell exhausted my neck & shoulders felt heavy & weak so my mom said let catch the bus I felt bad because we were about a 18mins walk away from home & I really was trying pre op I was able to walk for hours outdoors & do 2hr on treadmills with incline I later went to Google maps to see how many miles I walked & was saddened to see it was only 1.7 miles My question to members who can remember this post op stage or who are in this post op stage did any of you feel this tired? Did it get better? When did you feel like your old self again? How long did it take?

Hi I'm Laura 23 from NJ Surgery day October 21st HW - 372 SW - 359 CW - 342 **30lbs gone forever** Pre op - I was on three blood pressure medications & a potassium meds Post op - I'm on two blood pressure medications & potassium meds My blood pressure been so great better than when I was on the three blood pressure meds all together they want me to keep an eye out for if I feel dizzy because if I do my blood pressure may be too low & I may need to get off one of my blood pressure meds(which would be sweet). Thanks for this thread I'm 23 been over weight for as long as I can imagine I was 300 by 16 & 350 by 18 HW 372 SW 359 tomorrow my 1st pre op visit & I see where weight loss has taken me everyone especially my mother keeps telling me I'm young it bounce back & while I'm praying that it happens I'm still afraid I have loose skin on my arms, inner thighs, back & tummy I'm taking any advice & putting it to use b/c if insurance doesn't cover any skin removal surgery out of pocket not option until a few years

The past 3days I tried 3 sugar free drinks to have something other than water at first I thought it was because it was pink lemonade so I tried the fruit punch same heartburn just lessen all 4c brand btw than I tried crystal light fruit punch & had heartburn from last night til this morning I drank almond milk, ate plain greek yogurt & ate plain cottage cheese (that was yuck almost threw up) nothing worked I hope sipping on this protein shake helps if you know anything else that can help please let me know I don't see my doctor til nov 6 for my first post op visit

I'm doing way better thanks for asking one of my tiny incisions dressing came off last night finally got to see something I'm also sleeping partially on my tummy getting in Protein having blended Soups, Greek yogurt, light & fit yogurt & hummus wit no problem just little by little just that sugar free juice mix gives me heartburn so I stick wit ice cold Water post op visit nov. 6 so excited about that

I have that already I didn't even think of that because I thought it was only for gas & no ppi

I noticed that too when out handling business or just out to walk when I come home im taking 4-5hr naps im just exhausted

I slept on my stomach 7 days out so comfortable **it was heaven**

Thanks to everyone who wished me well I got back home 12am I had to stay an extra day due to low potassium so if you know it's low before surgery do everything in your power to get it up & no water pills it flushes your system & you get no intake from your potassium pill I found out the hard way the meds mix the iv potassium sodium it's all just horrible the first three days was the hardest for me my port from where they remove my lapband isn't sore much just the navel incision is a bit but im just happy I can comfortably lay on my side in my own bed the hospital bed was bad on my back I look forward to November 18 I officially be one month post op
