Starting 360
Surgery Day 307
Today 200
I have slowed down to almost a crawl. I only have about 10 more pounds to go but after pulling month after month of 15 to 25 pounds lost a meager 5 seems like a failure, though I know it is not. Next checkup in April I will work on scheduling my TT and I hope once that is done I can be happy with what I have.

I have no issue telling people about the surgery. I feel if I can educate someone else on its benefits then that's a good thing. People will forget you had the surgery when something more exciting comes along. Good luck.

Keep us posted on your progress while on your pre op diet.

I bought the Nike Fuel Band and really like it. The only thing is I have to manually enter calories burned into My Fitness Pal which is ok.

Hey guys, I think it is great that a lot of you have supportive partners!!! I have found going through this with a small support group of friends a bit difficult at times. They are not with you 24/7 and cannot see how your daily life has changed. But it is nice when you do see them and you have lost more weight. I also wonder how meeting and possible dating will go now that I am sleeved. I will be a cheap date, that is for sure!!y consult weight was 360, surgery weight 306 and as of today 273. My goal is between 180 and 190. And I have plans for Excess skin removal next year. Good luck to those with upcoming surgeries and to those who have begun their journey.

I was sleeved on July 10th and still have an issue with food at times. I can tolerate yogurt and Protein Drinks but meat Proteins do not like me right now.

I had a dream the other night that I went to the movies and after eating a handful if popcorn I thought, oh crap!!! I do not think I should have done that... Thank goodness it was only a dream, I am only 3 weeks post op.

Congrats!! Welcome to the club!!! Lol

I had no issues at all with my Insurance. I went in for consult and found out two weeks later I had been approved. I have awesome insurance and will even be covered for Excess skin removal when the time comes. **** luck!!

Thanks everyone for your concern and recommendations. I have many questions to ask my doctor next Monday when I go in.

I was sitting on the sofa yesterday when all of a sudden my heart went crazy. I took my pulse at it was at 173. I call my GP since my surgeon is 4 hours away any they got me right in. They did an EKG and found that my heart had gone into A Fib. After getting sent to the ER they said they were going to have to shock me back into rhythm. Just as they were about to knock me out and shock me I went back into normal sinus rhythm. They said since I has never had this issue before it could have been caused from the stress of surgery and my new diet. Has anyone else had this issue. I think it was just a fluke and hope it stays away...

How long ago did you get sleeved??

I feel your pain today... food just sounds gross today!!! This is my second day of puréed foods, I am 11 days past op, and I found yesterday that chili that sounded so good actually was so bad. I have had a Protein Drink and working on broth right now so I am hoping by lunchtime I will feel a little different. I know I need my Protein and I am half way there so far today so I think I will make it. Just plug along and you can get through it too.
July sleevers please check in..

Hey Gang,
Cannot believe a year has almost flown by since surgery.
SW 360
Surg 304
Today 188
I had thought I was done and this last week I have dropped another 7 pounds. I have got to get in a few more calories I guess to try and maintain what I have. I still have my TT to get through and they like you to be stable for a few months first.
Glad to see all the success that has been going on. Also to those struggling. Never give up, you have come this far. Seek assistance.
