Tijuana with Dr Ramos Kelly. No complaints other that they operate on Mexico time....you may got to the OR at 7 or 8 pm, but they all assured me they had taken siestas. Hospital staff great accept for IV infiltration on evening 2, which was the most painful part of the procedure. If your IV infiltrates, get the supervisor to restart...she was painless. Whatever they use for pain and to keep you relaxed really works, and they want to keep you comfortable.
When I got to the hotel....actually a resort.....I meant to get up and stir around a bit, but ended up in their soft comfy bed for the next 14 hours.
Day 3 I was back up and attum and thoroughly enjoying those lime popsicles and sunshine poolside.
On this day 10/11/13 I've lost 58 pounds, and have kept myself in ketosis the entire time.
Some days are better than others, and I get aggravated trying to figure out what to eat, but I did that before surgery. Now I'm just not hungry anymore, but stick to low carb everything. If you stay in ketosis, you will loose 0.5 lbs a day....that's a physiological fact in any human, pre or post, If you exercise, it will be more.
My go to food is Parmesan cookies. Easy: Oven at 350. Drop cheese by small handfuls on parchment lined baking sheet. Sprinkle with herbs, I like a rosemary/garlic blend, or chives, or just plain....bake for exactly for 10 minutes no longer! Transfer cookies after they have cooled a minute or two onto a paper towel to drain. Store in a closed container anywhere, but they are better not refrigerated. Total carbs 0. Satisfaction 100%
