I have always had a weight problem. In 2013, I got freaked out and realized I had to do something. I don't know how you can look in the mirrow and see one thing and see a picture and it doesn't look anything like what you see in the mirror. My eyes were finally opened. I was NOT one of those people who had a "pretty face" when I was fat. I pretty much looked like a Weeble but it wasn't a cute one. I was a big, round, yeast roll, with hardly no legs. Just a big fat person, short, and fatter then she was tall.
Accidentally, at work, a woman came in my office and asked me if I was going to take place in the AR Bariatric Pilot Program. I had no clue whst she was talking about; she told me about it. I asked her to send me the information so I could call and be screened to see if I would qualify to participate in the program. After being questioned, the nurse said I was qualified and let me know dates and times they were having a seminar that was required to participate in the program. It was awesome as every question you could possibly ask was answered. The Dr. went through each type surgery, explaining in detail, using Power Point presentions. After the presentations if anyone had questions, they could ask. I think we had only one person that had a question. I went through the required processes until mu surgery date was scheduled and on March 15, 2013, I had my Bariatric Sleeve. I lost all I wanted to lose, most everyone told me I looked sick 'cause I was so skinny. Well, I didn't look sick but I did have.....WRINKLES! This has been unbearable! If I had known laughing would do this, I would had looked like a prune every day instead of making people laugh evrery day and laughing with them.
Hate to do this but I have to cook supper, this will have to be continued...have a great day, stay focused, and keep track of every single thing, even your exercise. See you soon!
