La madam, OK the connectios are freaking me out. 22 to 12 - you are my idol for the day!!!!!! Good for you - you must feel amazing!! I will be 38 in July and my 10 year wedding anniversary is in may of 06. I am definitely with the get my act together for 40. My Dr. had assured me this would be the most challenging positive change I will make in regards to obtaining a healthy weight. My goal to be be 40 and feel fabulous. Thanks for replying Debby

The craziest diet I did was the Stop the Insanity with Susan powers in the early 90's?? You got to eat, breathe and move. You could have carb galor but no fat. So I vas happy with the 1/2 dozen bagel thing for a while and lost 20 lbs or so. Only to break down and go back to burgers and fries which put the 20 plus 10 in a flash. She was an infomercial maniac, where is she now?? I'm going through the test phase to be a banster.

Thanks for the support. Same age same weight loss goals. That is way tooo funny. Which insurance are you waiting on? I hope your decision comes quickly and favorabily. How long ago did you start this process?? I was told by my doctors office that the empire plan in New York is pretty good about approvals as long as the documentation is clean. My BMI is in th neighborhood or 35-36 but I have health issues that are getting worse. Way too young for this crap to start happening. I have a 5 and 7 year old to keep up with.

I've done my fair share of research and I pretty confident the band is the best choice for me. I have the endoscopy this Thursday, not thrilled with the thought of anethesia but it should be quick. Once this test is done we'll have a good sense of how the insurance coverage struggle will be. I am ready to begin my journey. Thanks for letting me share.

Thanks Betty, Support is so needed. I haven't told my family or friends of my journey except for my husband. I really do not want outside comments from the size 6 group. I'm still in the "am I doing the right thing mode". I have been struggling with my weight my whole adult life and since the children, it has been a nightmare at best. I want to be health and fit for my 40th birthday ( thank goodness I have 2 years to get there). Thanks again for the support. Debby
