5 days post op still having trouble getting stuff down my stomach has like spasams or something I can feel it and its awful. It's really hot and I'm barely taking in fluid maybe 16 oz today if that! Any suggestions? If you had this did a medication work from the dr? Anything?

I am 20 days post op. I have lost 30lbs since pre-op diet I have not lost in 11 days. I can't get 64oz of Fluid like I'm supposed too and I can't get 60 grams of protein! I feel like a failure and I regret this whole damn thing!!!! I'm so tired and week I can't work out! I have 5 kids to take care of and I don't want too I get maybe 25oz of fluid and 10 grand of Protein this sucks!!!!!! I need advice bad!!!

I have adult add and I was on 30mg adderall extended release and a 10mg of adderall in the afternoon. My dr said you can never take a extended release pill again? So he put me on regular adderall 10mg 3 times a day. It stinks because I have no energy as I am 13 days post op. so the adderall is too low a dose I will need to up it. But it does it job for the most part. I do miss the extended release but I will get through it! Good luck with your surgery and I hope you get the meds worked out!! Ashly

My surgeon gives a packet with all the things you need to know.. It says I should be able to drink a 10oz Protein shake by 10 days post op but I can only do 4oz and it says 6oz broth I can't do anything 6oz but the applesauce goes down better. Yesterday and today I noticed thicker things go down better. I'm going to my dr tomorrow for my post op check I'm going to see if I can start the baby food stage

Everyone is different right? In the amount they will be able to eat? I can eat a whole single serve applesauce cup and that fills me up and I'm only 10 days post op? Now I feel like I'm doing something wrong!

I was sleeved 7/11 and I'm down 15 lbs that's it i feel like I'm behind! I'm still having trouble drinking fluids I've had no protein since I can't get the protein drink down. I have really bad spasms and cramping in my stomach. I hope to feel better soon! This is supposed to be a happy journey and so far it sucks!

Thank you at least I know it's gets better! I just dome want to go to the hospital for anymore IV fluids! It's been a rough 8 days hope this is the beginning of moving forward!

I think I may have figured out my spasms!! My dr told me to drink 10ml at one time or 2 tablespoons. For the last half hour I did 5ml/ 1 tablespoon and waited 2 minutes before sipping again I got about 30ml before my stomach went nuts!!!! Progress right?

I can't wait too get clothing! I own 2 pairs of strechy capris and 6 shirts that's it! I hated shopping since I could never wear what was cute or I liked! I always shop at Walmart but once I start loosing weight I can't wait to go else wear!

Lipsticklady what kind of cramping meds do you take? Ask your dr for some nausea meds they work wonders!

I'm going to call in the morning. I may need to go get some IV fluids. It's just making me sick to my stomach because its so uncomfortable

I had my sleeve done Thursday July 11th in the afternoon. I'm 4 days post op I can't do any protein shake I can barely do water heck I can barely do the liquid pain meds! I can do a Popsicle and I tried a little applesauce and I just tried powerade. When does it get better?

Thank you everyone!!! I know it gets better but when your in pain and thinking omg why did I do this you don't see the good! I'm ready to start the journey! I've been at this process since Feb!! I'm going to try harder on the hydration part my mouth has been dry all day that's not good plus it's in the 90's here in ohio and will be all week I don't need a trip to the er!

I am having the same problem! The feeling you have is like a spasam that is what my dr says anyway. She said my stomach is still swollen and healing. She said some feel that more then others. She told me to try my best to stay hydrated! I just posted because I feel like it will never get better!!!

Thanks! I'm going to check the premier protein out! I do boost or slim fast and I would need 6 shakes a day I could barely do 3 for pre op!

Where can you buy the premier brand shakes at? I want to try those since there is more protein in every shake! Also the biotin where can you get that? I am only 2 days post op but I love reading what everyone has to say!!
