Endoscopy & psych evaluation scheduled for next week! I was worried about getting them in on time. Sugar withdrawal headaches are gone, caffeine is next to go. -

I'm from Tulsa and will be traveling to Houston for single incision gastric sleeve on August 6th. I'm looking for someone local to mentor or buddy up with. -
I'll be having surgery August 6th as well. I live in Tulsa, OK, but I'm having surgery in Houston. My initial consultation was last Thursday, so I have 3 weeks to prepare for this. I'm doing Medifast this week and will start my 2 week liquid diet next Tuesday. I'm so glad to meet you all!

I did not have to wait to schedule. I am just required to complete the endoscopy and psych evaluation before my pre-op appt the day before surgery. Thanks for the well wishes! -

I traveled to Houston for the consultation. I am self-pay, so I did their nutrition class online & I will have an endoscopy and psych evaluation locally. I'll return to Houston the day before surgery for the rest of it and will remain there for a week afterward. This surgeon is very reasonable ($13,800) for self-pay, and patients travel there from all over the country.
